Pretty sure Jello went out wit Bill Crosby, aina?

Does it count as "going out" if the Jello was drugged?

7 years ago I was almost a Nielsen ratings family.   They came and performed surgery on our TVs and VCRs to install their ratings equipment .. but couldn't figure out our soundbar, so ripped it all out and fired us.

They were at our house for like 5 hours.

If I were ever an official Neilsen family, I would put whatever TV they use on some obscure network 24/7 and watch my regular TV elsewhere.

We were a Summer replacement several times and we were supplied paperwork to record our viewing. Never was hooked up

My wife and I just finished the written Nielsen journals for radio listening. It was easy for me, since I listened for about 30 minutes the entire week because I was staying at home and only listen to the radio in the car.

Easiest $10 I ever made, except that summer I worked as a gigolo... ;D

In truth, a fancy VCR/DVD player that could even record on DVD.

Cool article about Milwaukee photographs taken from 1976-1980 including several featuring Wells Street.  If you look closely, there's a special treat for Topper.

I just came across a great example of marketing-speak.  I have a bunch of single-use lens cleaning wipes that I bought a few years ago when I started wearing readers.  My optician recommended I not use them on my "real" classes, so they've been sitting in a drawer for a year. I thought maybe I could use them to clean my thermometer, but I figured I better look into what's in there.  A little research revealed it's isopropyl alcohol and water. In light of this, I thought the following from their website was kind of funny:  "It is pre-moistened with a unique combination of two active agents which are also used for medical equipment cleaning."  Wow...sounds pretty high-tech.

Epic. They could use the same description for a combination of soap and water.

And all this time I've been drinking an "active agent" that is "used for medical equipment cleaning." Thank goodness it hasn't had any harmful effects.

3-4 months ago I was loosely doing "intermittent fasting" by no late night snacks and skipping breakfast.  I also started exercising 2x a week which I hadn't done since the 1980s.  I lost no weight.

4 weeks into sheltering at home I've lost 4 pounds.   So .. I found the secret .. stop exercising, a bowl of Cap'n Crunchberries, and sit on your arse 14-16 hours per day.

(I think what it really was .. I stopped eating out lunch 3x a week, dinner 1-2x per week.  #Arbys)

Crunch Berries.  OAB seems like it would be overkill, although I suppose the berries make it more healthy.

.. My wife bought some non-berry Cap'n last week.  Brutal.  It's only ok if you sprinkle in some Froot Loops.
