We had Kopps tonight.  I decided to try and call in my order.   Called, waited 15 minutes in the comfort of my home, drove, walked in, 2 minutes later walked out.

Best Kopps run ever.

I tried that at cousins...twice to give them a 2nd chance. Ordered up a couple of cheese steaks, said it would be15 minutes.  Get there in 15 minutes, no one in the joint and they hadn’t even thrown the carcass on the grill yet??  These guys used to be our “go to” sub place.  Over priced. Good help is really hard to find

My brothers gave up on being competitive once they figured out that the winners' dads were all mechanical engineers and our dad was an English major.
Have some patience, FFS.

I plan to give up on being competitive as soon as I defeat everyone at everything.

Oddly enough, I have been accused of being stubborn.🤔

Is this impending game of one-on-one being held on your court or JayBee’s?
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

The neutral court at Mayo HS. Although it is about two miles from my house, I don't play any home one-on-ones there, so it qualifies.

It may take a while to get to that, though. I am tentatively penciling it in sometime during 2045. JayBee - you up for that?

I would suggest taking on JayBee much earlier, i.e. before he hits his prime.

And I see what you did there... which is somewhat ironic given the architectural features of Mayo HS.

Someone needs to neuter whoever wrote that commercial where Matthew McConaughey whistles the Andy Griffith theme.

I've programmed the DVR to FF if McConaughey's face or voice appear.

I'm much more ragey now about the annoying af Pandora Tide ad set to Fur Elise. Have considered hiring Russian hackers on Proctor & Gamble's servers.

Because of the tune or because of the commercial being piss poor?

For me, I'm bothered by the fact that if that commercial makes no sense.     Why wouldn't they just have him drive out on the ice instead of walking that far?   Ice too thin better not be a reason, it's a freakin' commercial.    And why does he sit in the tailgate instead of in a heated comfy front seat?   MM doesn't look comfortable at all...   what am I even watching here?

Oh, and why Andy Griffith theme song?

I think he'd be a blast to get f-ed up with.   If that involves fishing, so be it.

MM likely ice fishes in the nude too with a dube hanging from his lower lip, Zigs. Perfect bromance for you.

One of my best buddies from law school wrote a movie called “Surfer Dude.” It’s one of the most horrid films ever made. It literally has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Somehow they convinced MM to star. My buddy said he was a blast but had, how do I say this politely...an aversion to bathing.
