Oh, and why Andy Griffith theme song?
Andy and Opie fish at the beginning, and in real life Aunt Bea is Matthew McConaughnahey's grandmother

Someone needs to neuter whoever wrote that commercial where Matthew McConaughey whistles the Andy Griffith theme.

More annoying whistle commercials coming on Sunday. This is your trigger warning.

Has anyone else noticed an uptick over the last couple years of people who spell the word lose “loose”.  Is it just a rash of typos do people really think lose has two o’s?

It’s the little things in life...that bug the crap out of me!

When I hear people say “dollars twenty-five” it makes me wonder what drug they are on.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I imagine .. I've seen the whole movie 5x, at least, and parts of the movie 20x.

Made my kids watch it for the 2nd time this afternoon.

The Jeep commercial referencing Ground Hog day is genius.  Cannot believe they got Bill and Brian Murray to do it.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

My senior year I had a few alcohol-induced trysts with a Marquette cheerleader from Woodstock, IL. I remember her telling me that parts of the film were being shot in and around that area.

If I may go Cheeks mode ....
I had a pleasant conversation with Steven Tobolowsky, aka Needlenose Ned Ryerson, when he was back in Woodstock for a Groundhog Day event about a decade ago. Friendly guy.
