I'm more appalled that topper eats Hostess Fruit Pies.  If I'm blowing calories on Hostess Snacks, it is going to be in the following order:

1. Ding Dongs
2. Ho Hos
3. Cupcakes
4. Frosted Donettes (preferably chocolate)
5. Zingers (preferably chocolate)
6. Mini Muffins (blueberry)
7. Twinkies
8. Suzy Qs
9. Fruit Pies
10. Sno Balls

Fruit pies are #1.  The end.  Sno Balls shouldn't even be on the list they are so vile.    I can't score mini muffins .. they are real food.

The new version of Suzy Q is a sad downgrade, they screwed that up like the new Apple Jacks.

The Hostess Snack Size Fruit Pies are effing bogus.  It's like one bite and they're done.   It's a good bite, yes, but just one.

See, now I feel the need to defend myself.  As I started to "fix" sultan's ranking, my original intent was to include only Raspberry Zingers.  I've loved those since I was a kid...although I probably haven't had them for a decade or more.  But then I realized that on a couple of occasions when they were provided by someone else, I've eaten the blue berry mini muffins.  And they were...ok, I guess.  I have never bought them, and wouldn't.  But Raspberry Zingers...

Personally, I think if you're going to shorten a list from 10 to 2 in such decisive fashion, you should have pretty strong arguments for those two. That was not that.

I find the new Hostess cupcakes to be a real disappointment. I used to love eating the cake out from under the icing and around the filing so I was left with a super sweet iced filling ball. The new texture has rendered that impossible. It's true when they say you can't go back...
