OTOH, if your ethnicity was predisposed to making great donuts, that'd be a bonus.

There should be a whole immigration program to fast track their applications.

Also, if you could shave roast beef really well.

So brazilians shave beef and other things extremely well?  :)

And pull a really great shot of espresso.

Fine. I will drop it, but let me ask you one last question: If the proprietor had been African American, would you have called her a "lil black gal"?

If you walked into a mexican restaurant and the employees were 100% asian, would you not take note?

(and then scold yourself for taking note).

The portal is NOT closed.

If I walk into a brewpub and the brewmaster doesn't have a beer gut, I'm walking out....

Unfortunately, it did not come out.

Too bad.  At a wildlife conservation area we visited there was a Grizzly named "JB" there and a nearby sign boasted about his 39-inch neck.

Overrated & overpriced

I had a boss who loved Brazilian-style steakhouses.

I just didn't understand the enjoyment of seeing how many huge slabs of meat you could eat in one sitting.

Yeah, I like meat and all, but those places seem like overkill.

In this thread, I feel like I should duck after saying that....

I loved going to churrascarias when work took me to Brazil.  There is a great one in NYC called Plataforma.

Anyway, Argentine grilled steak is better than the Brazilians.  My Argentine father-in-law doesn't each much beef anymore as he is getting older, but he made  some of the best grilled steak I have ever eaten.

My daughter studied in Buenos Aires for a summer, and said the steak there was easily the best she has ever eaten.

How are you recognizing the plight of sex workers around the world, today?

This is still one of my favorites...

The young child of one of my co-workers made a "do not dasturb" sign for mommy, but he had a little trouble with mixing up lower case "b" and "d" so the sign she had up at her desk for many months said:
