Almond

The lines are blurring: https://www.webmd.com/allergies/news/20180806/almond-milk-recalled-over-cows-milk-concerns

Yeah I know - likely a one-time accident. Still, I have tried various brands of almond and soy milk, and can’t get past the nutty taste.

Whole milk, 2%, 1% or skim?

No chocolate on the list?  racist.

skim all the way.  even 1% is like drinking motor oil.

We went from skim to 1% a couple years ago.  I told my wife last week that we're going up to 2%.

People over 7 years of age shouldn’t be drinking milk. Ewww, gross!

(I do use almond & cashew milk to make smoothies tho nh)

Affirmative. Milk comes from animals, not plants.

In drive thru at Raising Cane’s. Opened yesterday. Police controlling traffic; line out the door. This better be good when I eat it in 75 minutes.

Have had in Vegas, but only at events when they bring it in the coaches/media room and it’s already cold.

My daughter goes to the Dinkytown Cane’s all the time. I’ve never tried it.

Favorite national fast food chain bar none. Box combo,  no coleslaw,  sub extra toast, extra sauce. Can't go wrong

Never had the pleasure but hard to imagine it's better than Portillos (who maybe aren't national?)

I guess you could call them national. I think they have some locations in California and Florida IIRC.

Though personally never understood the hype. Its really good, don't get me wrong, but never something I personally craved.

It always ruins it for me when a restaurant I look forward to visiting when I travel decides to open up a branch nearby.

A few years ago it was Culvers.  Before they went nationwide, my kids (who were pretty young at the time) thought Culver's was one of the best things about going to Wisconsin.  Oh yeah, and that whole Grandma and Grandpa thing.

I was glad to hear that In and Out doesn't plan to expand much farther geographically than it already has.
Have some patience, FFS.

Yep.  Two examples: Chick-fil-a and Sonic.

When we went south on vacation, we would need to make a stop at both at some time.

For me:

Boston Chicken:  We lived down the street from the original one.  It was a hole in the wall with no seating and some cafeteria-style steam tables for the side dishes

Cracker Barrel:  My folks would load us all into the station wagon and head down to the original in Lebanon, TN.

For us, a trip down South has to include Waffle House.
