Yes, more 4ever.  Diversity is needed here on Scoop.
4ever's schtick is no where near as annoying as a person so pathetic that they still keep coming back after being banned a dozen times for being an a-hole.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

I thought you preferred a more 'traditional' approach.

4ever brings a valuable historical perspective re Marquette basketball to the board - put another way, he's forgotten more about MUBB than most of his detractors know. He also has a sense of humor and a talent for detecting bullsh!tters (Crean sucks!) that I appreciate.

Don't like him, ignore him - but he's a first ballot Scoop Hall of Famer.

What historical perspective has he provided in the last 5 years other than "Crean sucks".  Guy is way over the hill.       ;)

If he's forgotten that much maybe a retirement is in order since he can't remember things anymore

We've all worked hard here over two plus years to keep this relevant and limited to discussions about MU's active recruiting efforts.
This certainly has been evidenced in the last few pages!

Bet you guys were big Amos n' Andy fans back in the day.

And with that, what's going on with MU recruiting?

4ever is a first ballot scoop HOF. He knows the history of this program as well anyone I know.

4ever is a top 3 poster on my list.  He is a refreshing alternative to all the self-proclaimed experts on basketball and college basketball on this board. If I see a 4ever post, I instantly go and read it, Brew city, Tower, or some others not so much.

LOL, you instantly go read the no sequitur gibberish but take a pass on actual hoops talk. To each his own! I think 4ever is entertaining, not hating, just find it funny.

Any update on 2019 recruits or potential grad transfer PGs?

Basketball talk is one thing, acting like you are the definitive expert on a message board is another. I like the entertainment value and the insight not the BS.

Only an elitist/bigot unable to contextualize would pose this as an insult. So I'm gonna assume it wasn't intended that way.

What "insight?"  He may be the expert that Goose proclaims he is, which is damning with feint praise by definition, but he hardly says anything insightful.

It's his act. That's fine. Usually just let it pass by.

While I sometimes wish he would make more of the easily coherent posts because I think he has a lot to add, 4ever doesn't bother me at all. Like Lennys said, easy enough to ignore (even if not formally ignored his posts are usually no more than a line or two that can be scrolled past) and when he does decide to add in candid thoughts they are organized and add legitimate value.

Whatever one thinks, he makes Scoop a more unique place and it wouldn't be the same without him. And if you ask why he posts the way he does most of the time, he explains. No harm in having a few odd ducks in the room.

Sticks and stones, Lenny.
Please refer back to this post every time you disingenuously bemoan the state of discourse on Scoop.

I was referring to the board in general not just 4ever. Some here have insight, some have entertainment value, some like to discuss basketball. All those are why I visit here. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Looking forward to that tryptophan induced nap.

If you like the guy, fine.

But what does he offer in a basketball discussion? I just see throwaway one liners - no attempt even to be a part of discussions.
