Right.  At same time I was working on the schedule because I couldn't find something to link, typing like a madman, contributing knowledge to all you guys and all I get is abused!

jsglow to Xavier.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

BeeJay's all about the technicalities.  Technically Eke (and John) have signed nothing, which means their scholarships are still open.

Do you actually believe the stuff you type? My God. He's gonna leave Madison with 1400 points and a boatload of wins. He'll make a million plus from hoops whether or not he ever sniffs the NBA.

What was inaccurate about what I said?  Was he not a good 4th option on a great basketball team as a sophomore?  Was he not expected to be one of the best players in the B1G, and even in the country, going into last season?  Was he not still the 3rd or maybe even the 4th best player on Wisconsin last season?  I'm not exactly sure what there is not to believe about what I typed...

Personally, if I were a Badger fan, I would be hoping that Herro turns into a better player at Madison than Bronson did.  Herro is really, really good.  If all he is is Bronson 2.0, that's a big disappointment, if you ask me.

I know it's the offseason and that you like to go around on basketball forums and tell anyone who will listen how great your son is, but he's a pretty inconsistent performer, Mr. Koenig.

I'm really so puzzled by the "Wojo and co. can't recruit" crowd.
I am in the Wojo can recruit but cannot coach crowd.

My personal wish list is:

1. X Tillman
2. J Nwora
3. J. Cain
4. T. John
5. H. French

I feel great about John.
I feel good about Cain and French.
I feel good about Tillman but never underestimate Izzo with in state recruits
I don't feel good about Nwora

All these are quality recruits though. Any combination of three will make for a great class.
Nwora mother is a college professor. Louisville is a glorified junior college academically. May be a tough sell . Kid has a chance to go to Cal, Northwestern, Marquette which are better academics.

Hasahn French =Modern Day Charles Oakley Lunch bucket type power forward .  He is all about doing the team things that don't necessarily translate into highlights reels. He is a big win if we get him.

If it strictly an academic litmus test then we will lose out also.

I believe Wojos is a great recruiter and good, young coach who leads the team to play to win every game.  I like what he's doing at Marquette.

I want Nwora, John and Cain or Tillman. Don't care how many scholies we have left. To many
midgets. We need the ball to score. Heldt is the only big guy and I hope he can do the job.
The 6-6 center-forward days are over. Can't figure it out, we are in need of Bigs and playing
time available and recruits don't come. Johnson is our best recruiter. Hopefully, he will be our
Howard Moore of Bucky. Has been doing great at Wisco for Gard and old Bo. The present staff
can't recruit. Thought Wojo, Nelson and the others could. But, No. Was a Wojo fan. Got it off my chest. Just Ramblin'.

It's the losing and lack of NCAA's. It's starting to catch up to MU unfortunately.

I don't even understand where all the Herro love came from. He made the jump to the top 60 seeking out of nowhere. He will be an alright player but I'm certainly not losing sent sleep over it. In fact I'd much rather get Theo John over Tyler Herro.

Herro is like a Duane Wilson, an undersized 2 guard who can score in bunches at times but other than that is just alright.

I completely agree with wanting John over Herro.  Herro will probably be a solid college player, but I don't see him as an elite talent and it is much easier to find solid 6'3 guards than 6'9 forwards.

Herro is a lot better than Duane and Herro is better than Theo but we have a bigger need for Theo than we do Herro.

He's a better player than Duane was coming out of HS. Extremely talented offensively, the test will be whether he can improve his defense enough to stay on the floor. That said, his ranking probably is a little high, but that's still very good player UW is getting.

And Herro's going to play for the rodents so as much as we wish the young man well and hope he's happy and successful in life he's dead to us here.  See ya.  8-)
