Three star, not ranked by Rivals.  Does have some credible offers, maybe just another rising recruit.

Nah..... Better having schools from big time programs offering than ones like Siena, Hofstra, Loyola, etc.    Guy must have some potential for those offers, but another thin guy.

On side note, hope majority of MU team comes back next year but MU could use a backup to Oso.  Ezewiro from Georgetown, at 6ft 9, 255 would be a perfect backup.  He had 7 points and 9 rebounds today in like playing a half.  A big body guy, but may be too slow for Shaka's defense.  Maybe after Ewing gets canned, he would enter portal again (came from LSU).  Who knows, jus a thought after watching him last few games.

It will be interesting to see if he commits.  Shaka is definitely not worried about the stars next to these recruits names.  Based on the results so far the fans shouldn't be either.  If Shaka wants him we should too.  He must be a fast/late riser.  I suspect when the new rankings come out he will be more than a two star.

Owens has on his list:

Syracuse
Virginia Tech
Creighton
Cincinnati
Alabama
Iona (Rick knowz ball)

Owens would be a solid replacement for the OMax role. I think it would take us out of Isaiah Abraham hunt, but you gotta take the bird in hand.

Donnie Freeman would be the real coup, but I'm not holding my breathe guven his long list of suitors. Dortch or Parham would also round out a nice two man class.

Yes. It's amazing how differently I think about recruiting under this regime than the last. With the last regime, it was always "maybe if we get this 4 or 5 star guy we can save the program" - with Shaka if he's happy with them buying into his system I'm happy with them - doesn't matter how many stars they have behind their name.
