Putting on some gold colored glasses here, but IMO:  This tweet subtly illustrates the brand equity Shaka brings.  The tweet mentioned it being "another big time offer" for Royce.  Shaka has the charisma/cool factor that elevates the perception of the caliber of the offer.  Not taking a shot at Wojo, but I don't feel we'd see an offer from him/MU seen as a "big time offer."

I don't have a Twitter so I can only see the first 5 or so Tweets, but it looks like the entire account is just hyping up the visits Parham is taking or getting from coaches.

I will say, all of our recruits so far have had less muddled recruitments than the wojo era. After that first summer its been a consistent target identification and sticking with guys. With only mild priority changes as the talent changes.

Every commitment in 2022, we were always top three. With no true doubts. Less than a hand full of misses, and no guys where we can see maximum effort being put in resulting in a miss.

2023 is similar. Amadou, Norman, and Lowery all make early visits in the fall. All keep Marquette in their top tier, and all eventually commit.

Shaka Smart excited about signing three 2023 recruits, but Marquette will need to make room for them
Shaka's comment about over-recruiting:"In this day and age you have to be prepared for all scenarios," Smart said. "That's my job, that's our job, to do that. Obviously the goal is to have as many guys come back as possible.
"But again, this day and age of the transfer portal and guys leaving early for the NBA and all those things, it's my job to make sure our program is prepared. And we will be. We get 13 scholarships to use and we'll use them."

The guy definitely has a plan with the thinner big men.  It will be fun to see if it works because for the first three to four years of Shaka's tenure we are pretty much locked in to this kind of roster.

I wish they would have asked him about this in the presser.  Seems like a glaring hole.  I'm interested how purposeful it is.
