Missed me, fùckers?

Nice to see that Rico can advocate for assassinating presidents but calling 82 out on the truth about his mysogony is too much for this board.  Snowflakes.

I asked a couple weeks ago, but what's the latest with Dai Dai Ames?
I always thought he was committing in the summer and that we were in the best position with him (hence the name change).

He isn't marquette's #1 choice guard. Marquette isn't his #1 choice school.

Been moving in different directions since April

Who is, Tre Norman?

With only one scholarship available (I know I know kids transfer, never stop recruiting, blah blah blah) I'd much rather get a big guy than a guard. We're loaded at guard. We need a big

Is that JT kid from Maine the only big we're recruiting?
Bring back FFP!!!

Alassane Amadou and Carey Booth. I think Amadou is the top target

You think he's the top overall target or the top target for a big?

Overall,  but I do think we end up with 2 more commits in this class

He visited Marquette, announced a commitment date, and has been sitting out of alot of EYBL events with minor injuries that players who were desperate to be seen by coaches wouldn't sit out of.

From Eric Bossi:

"Norman is a tough and athletic off guard who plays with tremendous energy and physicality. He is at his best when he is getting downhill and is a strong finisher when attacking the basket. He does a nice job of pulling up and hitting the mid range jumper when driving lanes are cut off but has room to improve as a three-point shooter. Defensively, he has the potential to be one of the top on ball defenders in the class."

Certainly sounds like a Shaka guard

A lot of similarities to Stevie Mitchell, both on the court and in the classroom.  I recall reading that Tre is a 4.0 student.

Sounds a bit like Morsell

Amadou, Booth and Estrella will be playing in the Under Armour Championships next week in Chicago and coaches can be there to watch.  Royal and Swain will be playing with All-Ohio Red at the Peach Jam next week and pretty confident Shaka and staff will have a strong presence at both events.  Not sure if Norman is playing.  He wasn't in the boxscore the last 2 games at the last Nike EYBL event, so not sure if it was an injury of what.

Location in Chicago.

Have to buy tickets through the Under Armour Association site.

I don't think we've been involved in awhile, but Asa Thomas committed to Clemson

What am I supposed to think about Brad Brownell? He has lasted for 12 seasons at Clemson with just a couple NCAA appearances to show for it and hasn't won more than four of his five predecessors. On top of it all, he's not even from the south - he's a midwesterner.

Probably that he's really fortunate to be in the very long, very dark shadow cast by Dabo Swinney.

I guess that's it, but there are plenty of places these days that can focus on both programs.

I feel like he's been on the hot seat for years, always doing just enough to not get fired. Saved by a Sweet 16 in 2018, then saved by COVID in 2020 and a tourney bid in 2021, and this past year they at least finished pretty strong (won 5 of their last 6 after a 4-12 ACC start). I'd guess he's one losing record away from losing his job, but he hasn't had a losing record since 2013, so he just keeps on (barely) keeping on.
