2 Burger Boys since 1982 (Henry Ellenson & Dawson Garcia) and we go combined 16-21 in Big East play with them, 0 NCAA Tournament appearances & both gone after 1 season  :o

The only name that I have seen us connected to that would be eligible for next season is Cedric Russell, transfer from UL-Lafayette.

We made his top 5 along with Ohio State, Oklahoma, St. John's, and Texas Tech. He's planning to announce this week.

Cedric Russell won't be a replacement for Garcia in the frontcourt.  But he is a high scoring guard who shot 40% from three point land, although he did little better than that in overall shooting percentage.  Most likely he would challenge Greg Elliott for playing time.

"Russell, a senior, 6'2″ guard who last year averaged 17.2 points per game on 41.9% shooting, will surely be a coveted asset. While Russell shot 41.9% from the field, it is worth noting that he shot 40% from three-point land while jacking up 7.3 per game – a rate that will certainly be an eye-opener for many teams. On top of his shooting skill, Russell seems to be the type of player who puts in work relentlessly, as his game and numbers have drastically improved year by year."

We appear to be his third high major offer, with Boston College and Minnesota being the other two. 2022 prospect.
