Wondering what the 'bad sign' was from Kame.  Hadnt heard any of that.  But, you be you Sultan.

It was noted how coming from Indiana that Garcia was having a great visit and he would likely commit. Coming from MU it was he was staring at his phone and not really engaging. He committed to Marquette so I don't put much into what the fans see. If I recall correctly shumpert got into a fight with Christopherson while on his official. If Mane's bad event was the former then no big deal. If it was the latter that could be a problem.

Didn't Chris Otule also get into a fight with a really good recruit who ended up going to Louisville?

Might have been with Gorgui Dieng...

So, regarding Mane and his visit, what's the BAD sign...the Pepsi was flat? The nachos were stale? The chaperone was...chunky? Come on...conjecture is manure.

Ok....when Cain was at an MU game sitting 3 rows behind the MU bench with MU b-ball alums.

My bad...sorry.

Mike 1977 said he saw a bad sign when Mane was at the MU/Nova—whatever that means.
I said that we have only heard on here that Mane had a fantastic time at the game. Mike1977 brought it up, but then won't explain what he means.

There wasn't one, it was the opposite, that he was not on his phone and very into the game

Article in SI on Mane...

https://www.si.com/nba/raptors/news/karim-manes-future-still-uncertain-due-to-covid-19

Though Mane remains steadfast in his desire to visit the programs, he and Hertzog have discussed the possibility of committing to a university without setting foot on campus.

"What's important for me an my family is just to take a visit, visit the school and get to see the facility in person and everything before making a decision, we're kind of set on that right now," Mane said. "Eventually if the situation forces us to make a decision without visiting, than I'll probably have to talk to my parents about it again."
I am surprise that nobody seem to notice that Mane only shot 21% from three this year after shooting 37% the year before.

No Bueno but I believe he was hurt so that has to be a small sample size?

Also, I know it's sometimes hard to tell from those mixtapes but that kid looks really, really good and very smooth. I don't throw out the Wade comparison nonchalantly, but from the limited video that Ive seen hes got that extremely smooth get anywhere on the court with the ability to finish about him.

Not sure if this makes any sense to anyone else but one of the things I always admired about D Wade was that he looked so damn lazy on the court yet was always amazing. What I mean by that is that he always looked like he did not have to over exert himself, that things just came smoothly and/or easily to him within the game.

I also saw that last year when I started following Ja Morant closely after having never heard of him. Then when MU drew Murray St I knew it was bad news, he was the best player in NCAAB. Ja has better vision and smoothness to his game than most college PGs I've seen, and it's transitioning to the NBA.

He won't be as good as flash or Ja but Karim really looks to have an elite skill that I think will make shooting the 3P shot less effectively kind of a moot point. After all, Dwyane and Ja are not great outside shooters either.

Tallahassee CC has 8 guys to commit to D1 schools. One to Milwaukee on Sunday.

If we're reaching out to immediately eligible PGs like Ellis, that doesn't make me feel good about Carton.  And I think Wojo knows we need depth there.

Isn't Ellis a class of 2021 recruit? With 2 years left.

What a mess. Can't even recruit guards. The easiest position to recruit because of the numbers.Wojo wasted Markus  last two years because he couldn't recruit a PG and now he will waste Garcia's one year with the program because of the same issue.Scrambling to recruit guards in the Spring.Guess I have no confidence Wojo will land Mane,Carton or DeJulius.

Is this a JUCO?  Thought we've been told that we really weren't recruiting JUCO's?
