People need to stop taking seriously the guy that created a sock puppet in order to agree with himself...
And claims intimate knowledge of every recruit's family...
And claimed to talk about a recruit's body language during a visit...

It's all Performance Art for Tex/MUFINY/Gus/Herm.

@jakeweingarten: Marquette will have an assistant in today for Top-20 junior Kendall Brown. He took an official visit on October 25th, since, they've been prioritizing the Sunrise Christian Academy talent.

Miss the next few weeks due to...???

Honestly, this could help our chances of convincing him to go to college.  If he misses a few weeks (or more) and his draft stock slips, he might see college as the safer bet.

Or, he could see this setback as the last one he's gonna have before he gets paid. Might not want to risk an injury in college and really see his stock drop.
Would love for him to come to MU though.

The question is can he keep diversifying his game, increase strength, lateral quickness, and improve shooting, very good not great shooter. He would possibly be compared a little bit to a Luke Kasubke type that signed with Kansas St. ...projects as a 6'6 wing at the next level.

Homer would have a field day with this on the radio broadcast. "Goode drives left, crosses over, pulls up and shoots, it's good!!!"

2021 MU target DaRon Holmes had a nice weekend in his team's 4 games in a Thanksgiving Tourney near Peoria, Il. Millenium went 3-1, all lopsided wins over Urbana, Lincoln Park (Chicago), McGill-Toolen (Mobile) and a close loss to Woodward Academy (Atlanta) ...who has 7 foot top 15 North Carolina commit Walker Kessler. in that game Holmes had 16, 12, 4. .....In 4 games, he had 100 points, 56 rebounds, 21 blocks

Holmes took his official at MU Madness with Oso. Stan has been in to see him recently. Holmes also recently took an official visit to Virginia.

Probably a good day/time to bump this. Stan has been very active recruiting Holmes.

Love the defense at the 0:29 mark -- where he stays on his feet with his arms up guarding a smaller player, blocks the shot and comes away with the ball (rather than going for a showstopper block that could lead to a foul and likely send the ball out of bounds). Smart play.

Per Adam Zagoria, Marquette is watching 2021 big man Mac Etienne today. Illinois, UConn, UCLA, and Seton Hall also in for him. Etienne had 20/13 this morning with 4 blocks.

He had a follow up tweet later that said MU, Providence, UConn, were working him the hardest with new interest also coming from Miami, Louisville, UCLA.

With three seniors coming off the books (Cain, John, McEwen) and potentially another scholarship if we don't fill all 6 in 2020 or add a grad transfer, the 2021 class could be almost as crucial as 2020. If we could land a guy like Kendall Brown and support that with the likes of Etienne and one of the numerous guards we're after, that would be a huge follow up to what looks like a great 2020 class.

Is it more likely or less likely that Brown reclassifies to 2020?

Is it more likely or less likely that Brown reclassifies to 2020?

I haven't seen any indicators of it yet. Usually, I feel like reclassifications are done to get people eligible for the NBA Draft sooner. From what I can tell, Brown's birthday is 5/11/2003, which means he will be eligible for the Draft first in 2022. Coming a year early would put him in the same scenario Markus was in, where he was able to play at 17 for Marquette but wasn't eligible to test the waters until after his sophomore year.

Maybe it happens, I wouldn't rule it out, but he isn't someone who is old for his class and could get to the NBA sooner by reclassifying, so until we see reports to the contrary, I wouldn't count on it.

If I'm off the mark on any of this, feel free to clarify as I'm just going off memory of how the rules work.

Check out Justin Lewis's Instagram story.  Goodness gracious he is a monster.  More athletic than I thought he was.  17 points, 20 rebounds, 4 blocks tonight.  He's an immediate impact player and looks just as good as Dawson to me.

Based on videos I have seen of him, he seems to be the guy that makes everyone on the court better.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.
