I didn't see him, just read the reports.

I'd guess he goes to college but frankly I have no idea.

Highly doubt it would be mid-season. He’s a smart kid, gotta imagine he knows this is his “showcase” season to get high major offers and get the full two years.

Freeman's uncle is Marcus Liberty.  Liberty was the National High School player of the year.  From Chicago.  Played a couple seasons at Illinois before a half-dozen years in the NBA.

Freeman looked at transferring last spring.  His only campus visit was @ Northwestern.  Had contact with Baylor, Nevada and Cincinnati.

At the time he said he wanted to “reach my full potential in basketball and see what else is out there for me.”

His mother moved to Valparaiso for his freshman season and he cited that as a reason he returned to Valpo.

Article on the showcase with Mane. May just be conjecture, but sounds like college is still very much on the table for him, given his "late bloomer" status and the ability college will give him to showcase more.
