The Crystal Ball is awesome

In recruiting, it really should be called "Crystal Meth": We are addicted to it even though we know it is bad for us.

Was his name Gus Ganakas?

Oh, and how about we let RJ announce before we admit defeat?

Agreed

He has. Nobody here believes Mark's words though, only the almighty crystal ball.

The crystal ball is an omniscient look into a certain future. If the crystal ball changes its prediction it means that the future has been changed. Probably by a time traveling Dick Vitale.

A marketing tool click May or may not be good information - you don't know the quality or reasoning behind it. Without that, it's nonsense for the mindless masses.

Link?  Honestly, I've been skimming the board and not reading every thread lately.

If this is true, not sure why said poster didn't state it in this thread.

I think part of that comes from Guru quoting what he read on another message board.  Not sure the validity

I won't tie it to demographics but there is an element that doesn't like Wojo. Never have and never will. They have tried in every way to blame him for everything and have stated he isn't the right guy for the job because he can't recruit, kids hate playing for him, can't teach defense or offense, can't make adjustments, etc. Each of these have been broken down and each year under Wojo the team and talent has gotten better. If Wojo starts to really get the recruits then the element will have to admit he might be the right guy though the will probably credit Stan. If Wojo is the right guy then it will prove this element doesn't know what they are talking about. Instead of truly hoping Wojo succeeds and admitting they were wrong they are looking for reasons to grasp they were right which to them is more important than winning under Wojo.

Many have stated they want Wojo to do just good enough that another school takes him which is the new variant so they can say I don't want MU to lose but I don't want Wojo success either.

If Wojo misses on a recruit then it gives this element the opportunity to say "I am right."  Makes them feel good about themselves.

Hey buddy, you got it.

yeah okay.  you're confused with what Marquette is, and what you think it should be.

Maybe it shouldn't, but the fact that Corey Evans just did a 1 on 1 with Davis and still has Marquette on his futurecast makes me feel a little bit better. Not that it is gospel, but at least that he didn't seem to hear anything that made him think one of the other schools was in the lead.

And a few hours later he switched. Womp womp.

Certainly seems like the momentum is in UNC favor. Let's hope we can spring the upset

Jay bee, this is an honest question. I just want to understand where your coming from. Do you take issue with crystal Baal, or do you have an issue with Mark?

You're vs. your.

I take issue with people slurping then Cristal bowel. No issue with Mark - he's great. But with no context, him simply clicking on a website does nothing for me.

If Cristal bowel cane with notes from those picking, it would change everything. But it doesn't. Yawn

That's what their coach Roy Williams says...correct.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire
