Four-star guard Jalen Terry decommitted from Michigan State this morning, his father James Terry tells @247Sports | Story: 247sports.com/college/basket…

Wonder if all else fails if MU would get involved here??

Did he write a letter?

IIRC, we offered Terry early on but he was a Michigan State lean from the word go. If things fall through with Davis, I could see us getting involved. Definitely feels like he didn't appreciate the Spartans bringing in another guard.

Hopefully we don't need to worry about it. Loving the idea of locking up Davis and Dawson in the fall and then pouring everything we have into a home run like Suggs or Mane. Don't get one of those two and you bank the schollie for a transfer next summer.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

In that scenario they could bank 2 scholarships not 1.

6 available......2 for Lewis and Oso.....4 left.

Unless your bringing in a redshirt type prospect, you only need 11 players as they are all kids that can play.
Eke was a perfect example that did not work. Terry for MSU could see the handwriting on the wall, he is part of
the Family AAU program so I am sure Cain and Elliott know him, if they do not get Davis, he might be a good possiblity.

They gave a scholarship to Tommy Gardiner which was essentially Ike's, so technically, it would be his scholarship that's available next year.  :P

Hunter Sallis says  in a 247 interview that he will be visiting MU soon. He is a top 50 combo guard in 2021.

Love the 2021 movement too. Big names there so far with Hunter, sallis and DeRon.

Weird to wonder if BD was alluding to Hunter Sallis or Tyrese Hunter
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

This COULD be significant...PITT just got a commitment tonight, and John Hughley is expected to announce this week too, and most believe he will choose Pitt as well. Why is that important?? I BELIEVE that would use up all of Pitt's scholarships..Which means...

I like your thinking, but if Davis wants to commit, they’ll just Buzz cut someone.

I think Pitt had 4 open scholarships for 2020 per

https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/Pitt/2019/04/16/pitt-panthers-basketball-jeff-capel-recruiting-khadim-sy-olivier-robinson-nkamhoua-jahvon-quinerly-scholarships/stories/201904160003

But then got a traditional transfer from Delaware. So 3(?) open schollys assuming Xavier stays.
