Thank you kindly

Often times (but not always) a decision gets made within 2 weeks of a final visit (this weekend). So this upcoming week or after, before end of Oct, and signs in Nov, would seem likely.

Evan Daniels crystal balls Cade Cunningham to Kentucky.  Cunningham was on his visit this weekend for Kentucky Madness.  Note this since Cunningham has been linked by some to UNC and how this could influence RJ Davis decision making

I think what  may affect RJ's decision more is the fact that UNC has PG Kerwin Walton visiting next weekend

Though, Davis is more highly rated.  If Davis were to commit to UNC, Walton would likely cancel his visit?

5* SG Bryce Thompson who has visited UNC has one visit left, to Oklahoma this next weekend and has said he will be making a decision in the next week or two. So it's possible we don't get a decision from RJ real soon. If he wants UNC, he may wait until after the Walton visit and Thompson decides...so this COULD be a bit yet, and if it is, that MAY be telling.

Rumor on the UNC board is that it's RJ or Bryce Thompson for 1 spot, first to commit gets it..however I doubt that's true...no way if RJ commits to them, that Roy is going to turn down a commit from a 5*

Walton isn't a point guard.  Shooter.
Though, Davis is more of a shoot first guy?  UNC already has its PG in Caleb Love.

Caleb Love is a 6'3 combo guard. He's a bigger/taller version of RJ Davis.  This year, summer, he has greatly improved his passing ability, creating for others not just himself, to the point where he has been one of the best players at some of the most recent USA Junior basketball minicamps. UNC has been recruiting multiple combo guards as well as bigger/longer two guards/wings.  Davis would be a great get for MU. We'll see in the near future.

Hope he can land 1 or 2 of the final guys we are in on, always tough going up against the elite of the elite.

Coach Wojo understands how to recruit against UNC. The number one selling point for Marquette is playing time and also that they are not likely bringing in 5 stars recruits every year to take RJ's job . UNC already hot and heavy on point guards in the 2021 class.

Some of my friends in Chapel Hill are saying that it's first come first served between RJ and Bryce Thompson. So if Marquette can survive the official visit their odds will go up.

Thanks for this...I'm not disagreeing with you or your friends's info, but I honestly find it hard to believe that it's a "1st come first serve" type with Thompson and RJ...Even if RJ committed, there is a zero chance Roy would turn down a commit from a 5*. Heck, what Coach would??

Exactly. Unless something goes very wrong in his official visit.

And if they both say no, well there's Walton coming in.  UNC will get somebody.  Still a small chance that'll be Cunningham.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I haven't seen much about the visit so far. Expect to hear things soon start trickling out. Would be really nice to hear positive news trending towards us.

He likely decommitted from MSU because he saw the program going downhill with the addition of Whiney Joey.
