Speaking of only how he is built physically...
Symir is...very roughly speaking...built more like Iman Shumpert at a similar age. Paul is shorter stockier 6 foot. Shumpert was 6’4 longer. (Now he is considered listed as 6’5) ...Symir is listed at 6’3.

He is a more physically stronger version of Vander Blue at the same age. Similar height to some extent. Vander is now listed as 6’5 when he listed about 6’3 at MU.

But again, these are merely physical comparisons, and not other attributes.

Vanderbilt measured at 6’3.5” at the NBA combine.

Dudley Blackwell to ISU as suspected

He has to sit out a year because he gave a silent verbal to Marquette first, so this is considered a transfer.

If he turns out to be not good enough to start at MU from day 1 I'll be disappointed.
I could be wrong, but I do not think Markus started right away. I thought he came off the bench the first few games.

Greg Elliott has been in the program for three years and will likely have two seasons of experience.  As others said, Symir will have a year under his belt and was ranked higher when they were in the same class.

Davis MIGHT be better than both when he steps foot on campus - and that would be fantastic.  He likely will not - and that would not be a disappointment.  That would be expected IMO.
Greg has yet to have an injury free season, so I am not counting on him.

He played in 35 of 35 games his freshman season.

High majors investing more time and energy in Tyrese Hunter. Interesting how his stock rose. Started out with a few low major, then mid major , now high majors. If he keeps progressing , offers will start flowing in. Seems like Creighton is focusing on these kind of quick point guards to compliment the shooters.

https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/evans-seven-programs-hoping-to-impress-players-on-big-visits

In the meantime, the Tar Heels' focus will be on R.J. Davis
this weekend. The top 65 guard will almost be done with his official visit tour following his trip to North Carolina, and while the Tar Heels may be in catch-up mode, the opposition still has to be concerned about what UNC can offer. Marquette and Pitt have been the most discussed landing spots for Davis, with Georgetown also in contention, but with this being his final visit before his fall commitment, might the Tar Heels be able to pass by their competitors and land the premier shot-maker?

He started the first game then came off the bench the next 4 before regaining his starting role in game 6.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Man, we got a good one.
A very solid young man. Think he is going to be a fan favorite.

While on court success may be a concern so far. I have been impressed by the caliber of recruit and person Wojo has been getting--especially lately. Keep on going. Lets get RJ and Dawson

Apologies if this has already been asked, but has RJ given a timeline as to his commitment?

He has said all along that nothing will happen until after his four visits.  Last one is this weekend so in theory the bunker can be prepped at any time after Sunday.  I don't believe that he has a "set day" that he will announce one though.
