Gotta think UNC is the favorite. Davis would be a great player to land.

Rumor is Markus is leaving after this year??
I knew it—too good of a player to stick around for his 5th year.

Not so sure about that...there was a story or tweet or something some time ago, that said Loyalty was going to be VERY big in RJ's recruitment. That it matters a lot to him. MU was the first of these four to offer him I believe. So we will see if Loyalty really does matter to him.

Depends if UNC has a "guaranteed" spot for him or he's a conditional offer.  I like our chances and actually think Pitt is the bigger threat, FWIW.  And that FWIW is baseless speculation on my part.

North Carolina defintely offered last but Pitt, Georgetown and MU have all been on him for awhile......I do not think MU was first to offer but not sure it matters.

I'm sure he will look at many factors when making his decision.........clearly all 4 have a plan for him......4 good options.

Certainly a possibility.
Though I did find it interesting that he noted how UNC was recruiting two other guards in the class while the other three schools had made him a priority.

Could have impact on Osa's recruitment......

Interesting as both Vanderbilt & Stanford have added forwards in Osa's class in the past few days.

We also have a forward in his class. If it doesn't matter for us I'm not sure why it would matter for them

Well, what might matter more is in looking at their roster, it appears that was the only scholarship they had available. One senior listed. Of course da Silva could always go pro, and there could be transfers etc, but as of now, it appears they would be full.

What picks there are for him on 247 & Rivals all think it's Pitt.

Looking at it from a timing perspective. Lewis committed in July, before Ighodaro's visit. So coming in, Osa knew Lewis would be here. Also, Mark Miller made his prediction with Lewis in the fold.

Vanderbilt & Stanford both took commits after his visit, so things have changed since they gave their most recent pitch.

BCHoopster

I am pretty sure Stanford and Vandy told Osa what could happen, first come, first serve on the scholarship.  They took the first forward that
would commit first.  MU roster is pretty wide open, so he knows there is potential playing time here.   Can Wojo close the deal, we will see.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Random speculation: Maybe Osa decided first but he's waiting for his announcement video to be edited.

I think Osa, Garcia, and Lewis can all coexist, but that would leave limited roster spots for a couple of bigger holes in the roster left.  If either of Osa or Garcia commits to Marquette, what does Marquette prioritize?  RJ is a priority no matter what (and I'd assume Suggs is as well).  Would we take the other of Osa/Garcia over a "true" center?  In my opinion I think Lewis can play the center position and we have one more year of Theo with these guys as well.

I'm more concerned about guard than forward. I think we will land Ighodaro, which will give us a solid front court foundation no matter what happens with Garcia, especially with Hawkins and Brown-Ferguson still in the mix.

At guard, though, it feels like an uphill battle to land Suggs over Gonzaga, Davis over Pitt, or Hoggard over MSU. With Anim and Howard graduating & McEwen going into his senior season, we need someone alongside Torrence going forward. Seems like a big dropoff after those three.

North Carolina, along with Kansas, Mizzou and Louisville, are in today to see Caleb Love. He began his official visits this past weekend at Mizzou. He will take all of them. No decision likely for him until closer to the signing period, similar to RJ Davis regarding North Carolina.

Suggs visit is implied here, just doesn't give specific time.
