Thanks for posting. Interesting group of schools for his official visits. What do Illinois, Marquette, Rutgers, San Diego State and USC have in common? Or perhaps they each offer something unique in his eyes.

Usually it comes down to relationship with coaching staff, style of play and opportunity......if location isn't a big factor......which it doesn't appear to be in this case.

In common: US universities with good academics and division I basketball and...... that's all I got.

All but Rutgers are Nike.

220 lb wing from Chicago (Simeon)

Started off at Illinois, barely played.

Did well at GW....3 point shooting "improved" to 30%, but was high volume shooter

Silenzio. Parla il moomoo.

I'd have felt more comfortable if we were last, but I think there were a couple other fairly recent recruits who went on other visits after Marquette and still ended up choosing our alma mater. So I'll remain optimistic.

Did Sibley start to slide away due to the Lewis commitment, or due to the coaching staff's interest in Osa?  It seems to me that Osa and Sibley both see themselves as tall wing players.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

They coexisted on the same Simeon team in High School. Morrow as PF Williams as SF

I guess he shot better from distance in High School.  High volume 30% shooting from the three line don't cut it in Division I, particularly when the line is moving out further.

I'm not sure what happened here but DJ Williams announced this transfer back in May. Maybe he got cold feet, decided to return and is now transferring again? If so, would be sucky result for him because if he hadn't gone back on his initial decision he would be eligible for the whole year.

Or maybe he couldn't graduate.

That sucks. With the Hausers gone and Markus leaving, tough to see where the shooting will come from.

Jalen Bridges committed to West Virginia today.

Osa Ighodaro completed his  official visit to Texas this weekend. He will now decide between Marquette, Vanderbilt, Stanford, Texas.

He got out of Austin without any crystal bowl predictions that he was going there, so I guess there wasn't any publicly available information coming out from that visit that he was inclined to head there.
