I will say, that some blue bloods have been known to do home and homes with lesser schools to a. get their players road experience early b. get closer to home for a specific player. Duke doing a home and home with Northern Iowa comes to mind.

That being said....I will be very surprised if Kansas ever plays in Panther Arena.

2 for 1 by UNC for Marcus Paige, but close. Roy has done similar things for other players as well.

And UNI took advantage of the opportunity...

Kansas won't be playing at UWM Panther Arena (MECCA) in 2020.

What a missed opportunity by Kansas to recruit Patrick Baldwin, Jr.

UWM schedule came out today and lo and behold Kansas is on their schedule Dec 10 . Most likely part of a home and home . How convenient. Kudos to Self and company.

Or maybe, and this is just a wild ass guess, maybe the blue blood Big 12 juggernaut scheduled the sub-100 Horizon league team as a buy game.

Andrew Slater just picked Jalen Bridges to Miami.  Appears we are losing momentum with him.

I thought Bridges had released a final 5 (or something) that did not include Marquette, and once Nelson left it was pretty well known he wasn't interested in Marquette anymore.  Maybe I'm confusing him with someone else.

Wades is correct. I think it was a top 10. Brett Nelson was our connect to him. Once he went to Holy Cross, we were out.

Better weather.  ;). Miami Beach.  Coeds.  Different strokes for different folks.

Yes, rather disappointing.  We were listed as his leader and had announced a official visit to only MU.  Nelson left, he cancelled his visit, n never mentioned us again.

Gabe Madsen has setup 4 official visits: Xavier, Cincinnati, Minnesota and Northwestern.

Will Marquette be number 5?  Will Marquette offer Mason Madsen, like Xavier and Cincinnati have?

So if your argument is that KU scheduled UWM to "legally grease the skids", how does that relate to your original argument of "Wojo got outmaneuvered by Self"? Was Wojo supposed to schedule UWM 13 times next season to block KU from scheduling them?

There are only so many spots on the calendar open . The smart move would have been to lock something in with UWM before we completed the r est if the cup cake scheduling.   In fact the way the NET ranking works credit is given for road win. Would have been easy to schedule at their place if our home calendar was booked.

UWM playing a D3 on November 5 we are hosting Loyola Maryland that night. Would have been very easy to have make that date work.

Probably could have made something work on their Dec 3 or Dec4 date as well.

It is not about blocking KU it is about currying favor with the kids parents.

So KU scheduling them had nothing to do with Wojo being outmaneuvered. You think Wojo did badly regardless of what KU or any other school does.

But how can we give up Loyola Maryland when we are recruiting several guys from Maryland, wouldn't we lose momentum with them then Herm?
