Looks like Coach Killings is tracking Mika Adams-Woods 2019 6'3" PG for the Albany City Rocks (EYBL).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkVGrauLtWU

Also 2019 PG Noah Fernandes Jr from Expressions Elite (EYBL)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di_MpZ0lTIc

Both of these would seem like realistic next-level pg recruits if Mcewen is thought of as the starter for 19 and 20 and the top tier guys shy away.

Supposedly Coach Killings recruiting specialty is sniffing out undervalued 3 star recruits. No idea if true or not but that's the scuttlebutt

It is a good use of time to sift through players like this. You never know when you can find a diamond in the rough. Butler, for example, picked up Kemar Baldwin using this approach.

Typically the New England schools send players ranked in the late teens/early 20's to HM schools.

Looks like an intriguing PG prospect. Confident with the ball, good handle, keeps his head up, sees the court well (especially in transition), creative passer, nice little step back jumper. Plus good size at 6-2. According to 24/7, he's gotten interest from Michigan State.

Another name to watch is 6-2 guard James Bishop of Baltimore.  I think he was offered in season and visited.  Apparently the staff visited again this spring, Bishop is high on Marquette, and broke out this weekend with a 43 point outburst, including 11 threes.

Corey Evans tweeted out an article with quotes from Bishop:

Indy Saturday: James Bishop goes for 43 points as high-major suitors begin to take form

Thanks for sharing. According to Bishop Marquette has invested more time than anyone else. Seems like he could be a good option if Carton doesn't work out

Interesting recruit. Some very odd language choices and syntax, though.

"The need for shot makers and scorers has never been valued": Really, college basketball coaches have never valued shot making and scoring?

"Marquette, Xavier, VCU, Temple, NC State and a handful of others have remained heavily in touch": I might have gone with "closely in touch" or "frequently in touch." Not sure what it means to remain "heavily in touch." Not sure I want to know.

"...ones that should be received from those outside of his locale due to the heavy scoring abilities...": I think this is a tortured way of saying that Bishop should get more national attention. Again with "heavy." This isn't 1969, man. What's wrong with "impressive" or "prodigious" or any number of more fitting adjectives?

Who writes this stuff? Where did they learn English?

Editing and proofing are part of good writing. Appreciate the recruiting update, including great quotes from Bishop, but the article leaves much to be desired.

It's a free article. Kansas, UNC, Michigan, Baylor, and Marquette are the 5 prioritizing Wilson.
