The recruiting calender is in a quiet period from July 1 through 5 and a Dead period from July 6 through 10. So not much recruiting news until the following week.

If Marquette doesn't sign a point guard type in the 2020 class, one of the players who could be a top target in 2021 is Tyrese Hunter from Racine St. Catherine's.  He's playing with his team this weekend in Burlington, WI after playing well in the Nike event a week or so ago. Quick trip down from the Milwaukee area if anyone wants to see Hunter.

I need to talk to my parents, I think I'm going to get down and see Marquette, I'm up at the U all the time. A couple other schools when I have time, I'm just really busy right now. When I have time, probably in football season.

If he's thinking about committing in August and is already planning on going to Gonzaga for the UNC game it seems like the Zags are the winners here (which is what everyone has been saying all along)
