Strawther releasing top 10 tomorrow

Would also be shocked. Nice to see that he has a Markus highlight reel on his page.  8-)

Oh, and JJ is a beast. Maybe DuWilson can put in a good word
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Top ten lol? That is so broad. Why bother

Went to Strawther's 247 page and LOLed... Marquette is listed under his recruitment with "9 SFs"

I am antsy to get a second 2020 committed. That's a big class for us to keep momentum going.

Jalen Johnson's court sense outshines his talents and that is saying a great deal. He would be the biggest get in a long, long time for MU.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the Marquette-Wilson relationship didn't end well, especially with regards to his dad, who is a prominent AAU coach in Milwaukee.

Or am I just making that up?

Duane was at the Nova game sitting behind us like 5-10 seats away from Jalen

I saw Duane and Jujuan at a game earlier this year together. Hopefully any damage to the relationship was patched up. Duane was a great representative of MU and recruiter while here.

And I'm pretty sure that he has - DuWil was at NMD.

This makes me feel much better about Duane "recruiting" for us.  I always liked SwaggyDu!

I think Duane saw the writing on the wall with Rowsey and Howard at the guards last year.  He would have helped but he would have been a sub at best.  This is
why, when kids take a redshirt year or graduate early they can always leave.  I do not see that with Sacar has he plays as many minutes as anybody on team but
Morrow could be a different story playing only 10-15 minutes a game, hope he stays as MU needs a back-up.  Hope his is happy here, I know he wanted to play the
4, but has shown very little when it comes to shooting the ball.  Trying to figure out why on his year off he did not work on his shot, or is he like Happ who can not
do it either.  It is still blows me away that such a good athlete like Happ can shot 47% from the free throw line and has no shot past 5 feet.  What do they work on
in the summer?

There was no damage to the relationship to patch up. Duane left because he had one more year of eligibility, and thought he could make better use of it elsewhere. He had no problems with MU or the coaching staff, and made sure to praise the school and coaches when he announced his transfer.
Not every transfer is a result of bad feelings. Most are simply a business decision.

I would not be surprised if Duane Wilson becomes a coach at MU in the future.

I would not be surprised to see him get into coaching, but there is a lot of hurdles to clear before he is at MU.
"I am one of those who think the best friend of a nation is he who most faithfully rebukes her for her sins—and he her worst enemy, who, under the specious and popular garb of patriotism, seeks to excuse, palliate, and defend them" - Frederick Douglass

Typically recent grads start as graduate assistants and go from there if they are looking to break into coaching.

No surprise on DePaul, Fresno St., Creighton, OK St., San Diego St., Minnesota, Virginia Tech and Arizona getting cut.  A little surprised (and pleased) with Kansas getting the boot.

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Top 10 it is!!  Close the deal, Wojo!

Marquette wasn't in the top left corner. Clearly that means we weren't the first team on his mind when he made the list.
