I was thinking a solid year this year would be back half of the top 25 for the majority of it. Not the first time my expectations have been too low in the Shaka era. Great start for the team!

Mike Hlas of the Cedar Rapids Gazette gave Loyola and DePaul its only votes - at 22 and 23.

As a strange coincidence, I read that as I was watching the movie "Cedar Rapids" - an underrated comedy gem, BtW.

The Ed Helms movie.  I was pleasantly surprised by it and the trade show reminders when you only see people every other year or every year.

For those who are more knowledgeable about TV stuff, is there any chance this game gets bumped to a main espn channel?

I have espn+ but it'd be nice to not have to stream.

ESPN has the SEC / ACC showdown...so its doubtful.

Enjoy it.   If MU stays healthy and hits 3s at a slightly above average pace, everything will be fine.

It is possible this is the high water mark.   It is possible MU sweeps the next 3 and doesn't lose until they go to Storrs.   Should be fun to watch.

Seems like a great marketing opportunity for ESPN to push the plus subscriptions. Besides, it's almost 2025 and people consume media so differently now. The game will get enough attention regardless (hopefully in a good way for us).

False. The combination of quality in the B12 & SEC will lead to losses while we should rack up Big East wins, even if we take a step back before going higher.

Agree. ISU and Duke will likely pass us. Winner of UK and Gonzaga will be ahead of us, loser behind. I don't think Alabama passes us since that UNC win is aging like sour milk.
