I know Brew says Champ-week usually no matta, but you'd have to think beating X is an absolute must (if not the semi-final) for any chance at a 6.

The group we're in is very close, so I do think we need to get that win to keep a 6. Possibly even to keep a 7.

FWIW historically the games from Monday-Wednesday before the Top-16 reveal have not mattered much. I've almost always been more accurate on the Sunday before the Saturday Reveal than I was in the 48 hours leading up to it. This year that wasn't the case. That leads me to believe this week might matter more than Championship Weeks in the past, at least through Thursday/Friday.

Doesn't only depend on MU at this point. But yes, winning will still help.

Some people were hoping we could maintain the streak of consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25. We fell out this week, so the streak is over.  Otherwise, no, does not really matter.
