Good friend of mine, now retired, got called to the ER to use the ring cutters we carry on our apparatus to cut off a c&%$ ring.     Legend has it he blew some of the metallic dust off of it to get a better look about half way through the cut.     There are further embellishments, obviously, but at his retirement party he finally admitted that the blowing away the dust story was accurate.
