I'm opposed to requiring licenses just to be a dentist. People should be able to attend any dentistry convention (I hear the one's in Fond du Lac are extremely prestigious) and obtain a dentistry license, no background check, no safety course, and no proof that your drills as stored securely required.

It's in one of the amendments to the Constitution after all.

So far it appears most of the dental crimes are fraud so maybe they do need more money.

The only way to stop a bad dentist with a drill is a good bureaucrat with state licensing authority.
