That’s nothing compared to the time I devoted to the 6 seasons of “Lost” that I will never get back!

The Reagan flick is getting killed by critics.

The Boston Globe said, simply: "Just say no."

The Daily Beast called it the worst movie of the year.

AP gave it 1.5 out of 4 stars.

I mean the director is a nobody who has done like 25 films that you'd recognize basically none of, primarily cause its a lot of pre-teen/Disney Channel adjacent stuff.  His last 5 films were 3 pre-teen movies, a fantasy movie that made $2.2...million at box office, and another Dennis Quaid film that had a release shelved and went straight to Prime that nobody has ever heard of.  There was no question it was gonna stink.  Who could have ever seen the director of a bunch of Evens Stevens and Thats So Raven episodes failing in bring a nuanced and complex biopic to life.

They should have gotten you to direct it, Wags. As your agent, I would have demanded $50 million and a cut of the profits for you.

Most underrated show on television.  There are 2-3 main characters acting their ASS off every episode (Robert, Yasmin, and Eric).  They’ve pivoted stories very well from season to season and Kit Harrington has been a great addition to season 3.  Marisa Abela (Yasmin) has been getting buzz and should breakout even with the poor reviews of the Winehouse movie, but Harry Lawtey (Robert) has big things ahead IMO, he’s been incredible

Season 1 was so great for network television.  Be prepared for the show to fall off a cliff though.

Didn't realize the next season of Slow Horses was dropping now.
I thought it wasn't coming until November.

That show has my utmost respect

They churn out seasons. Unlike most things these days that take 3ish years

Its awesome, the exact opposite of Severance  ;D

Between that and my guilty pleasure, Elite, on Netflix which put out 8 seasons of 8 episodes all in 5.5 years, including COVID.  It was insane production

Not sure if anyone is watching, but I've always been a reality tv competition sucker. Good release from the more serious sports viewing.

The Challenge is doing its 40th season and its been elite so far seeing a celebration of the show in its full.

Alot of you will also find it very easy to feel for the aging 40 year olds that are walking corpses throwing out their backs 4 episodes in.

The best reality competition show of all time?  Wouldn't miss it.  Its been incredible.  Everytime I think the show has lost its fastball or gotten a bit contrived...it swoops back in with something like this and completely redeems itself.

And yet another chapter in the unreal transformation of CT from roid raging detestable legit sociopath...to one of the most liked and genuinely enjoyable characters in reality TV history.  Traitors was Step 1 in what I hope is a hosting or mainstream gig for him.

A show that multiple generations in our family has enjoyed is Only Murders in The Building.  I’m sure it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and some probably hate it,  but it is well cast and really solid. Started season 4 already. Normally I’d avoid anything with Martin Short in it, glad I didn’t. He is actually good and he and Steve Martin are obviously having a great time with it.

I think Slow Horses and Ted  Laso are my favorite streaming shows. Only Murders is up there in the next tier.

Watched Unstable with Rob Loew. Okay for a light show when tired and don’t want to think or get emotionally involved, but want a distraction. Not great. Not the worst. Wouldn’t exactly recommend it but wouldn’t say don’t watch it.

Completely agree its great tv. Has gotten a little stale ever since the season they did in that stupid bunker after all the good british stuff. But this season is really getting it back. Been a lot of fun.

Also agree on CT. I saw him mention on social media when someone called Darrell overrated and CT mentioned how in his maturity hes basically adopted the Darrell style of playing level headed just being the fun guy and killing it when it matters. Best part about this show is how often people play so you can see the evolutions.

But boy, after all CT has done, they couldnt give him some shoes as he came back from hospital? He looked rough enough as is.

Only murders will never wow ya, its just not that type of show. But man, its really solid and really consistent. Pretty much know what you're gonna get and it'll be entertaining in a more light hearted way. The 3 leads are excellent together.

DiStefano and Nimesh Patel are great. Don’t know Sam Morris but if it’s Sam Morrill he’s equally funny. Should be a great show.

Yes! It was a great show. William Montgomery is in town now for 3 nights - might pass. Adam Ray is later this month. I feel I must go to that.

If there are any GoT fans with excess cash that they don't know what to do with, this auction could be a lot of fun.

That's super cool.  I haven't bought anything from TV or movie auctions (yet), but they are a ton of fun to look through.  And while there's still a month of bidding to go, some really cool stuff even if you don't want to spring five figures for a dragon egg.

So, Glow and I went up to Mackinac Island about 3 years ago, and we met a bartender who said she and her boyfriend had an Instagram account about traveling around the country, living in a van.  I started to follow her, and discovered that they also had 5 dogs living with them  as well.

So, in the past 3 years, they have had two kids (including a baby born in the last few weeks) and she announced recently that her boyfriend is on Season 47 of Survivor.  I was a massive Survivor fan in the early days, but I don't think I have watched it in at least 10 years.

I am having trouble getting over the fact that this guy left his pregnant SO with a baby and 5 dogs in a van so that he could be on a reality show.
Have some patience, FFS.

Watched the first episode of Silo. Pretty good. It's definitely right in my wheel-house thematically though. Sci Fi isn't for everyone

I know this is a pretty old post, but I've been watching this for the last several weeks on my daughter's recommendation. I'm about seven or eight episodes in. I'm really enjoying it.

Think I might start watching Slamball.  Marshawn Lynch as the color analyst is absolutely hysterical.
