I'm watching the market.  Holy S.

Pakuni

Missed it the first time around, but "Detroiters" (now on Netflix) is terrific.

Penguin finale is Sunday. Stoked.

Continues to be excellent. The penultimate was a great penultimate ep.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Spotcheck Billy

This film about the WI Bad River Chippewas was interesting and disgusting at the same time, currently showing on Peacock.

Just finished Diplomat Season 2. Was thinking during Episode 5 and first half of 6 what good dialogue the show has and how 3 dimensional the characters are...and then the last 5 min of the season were so absurdly campy and hilariously bad.  Hope it's just a fluke and Season 3 returns to strengths (and 8 episodes)

I thought it was fun campy.  Certainly out of left field and certainly sets up next season's gauntlet.

Banger of a finale.

Perfect mini series

This universe could be best superhero content ever considering how good The Batman was and where they are going.

Has anyone watched this Aaron Hernandez series?

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I'm two episodes into The Penguin and I'm hooked. I knew Cristin Milioti had acting chops but she's perfect in this role.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Enjoyed the first episode of the new Dune series.

I just saw that the entire MASH series is on Hulu. I think a lot of people around my age have a very sentimental connection to that show. They aired back to back reruns between our local news and Carson and we watched most nights. I think there was also an early evening airing - maybe 5:30 - that we often watched. That show was a big part of my childhood.

The finale is still the most watched episode of tv in history at about 106 million. With the way tv and streaming are today, that will never be surpassed. Just this year - after 41 years - it dropped out of the top 10 all-time broadcasts behind 10 Super Bowls.

I think I'll watch some.

MASH was awesome its first 3 seasons with the original cast, and it was still good for several more years until the Frank Burns character left. Then it became meh.

Kinda like All in the Family after Meathead left. You need that foil for the main character.

I watched the pilot last night. I'm relatively certain it's been at least a couple of decades since I've seen MASH, and probably longer since I've seen the pilot. It was kind of wild to hear the theme song come on, look over Radar's shoulder, and see the choppers coming in.

I'll probably watch a few. There are so many episodes that I suspect that the scenes that I remember are so spread out that it won't hold my interest. I had forgotten about the fourth resident of the "Swamp" and gasped audibly when they called him by his "name". Television has certainly changed.

I think that Burns was one of the great foils of television history, but I also liked Winchester. I suppose it did drop off a bit, but I'd rate it better than "meh." At least that's how I remember it more than 40 years later.

Agree with what you say about Burns as a foil - he was perfect. And his relationship with Hot Lips was such a great ongoing story line, too.

I wasn't a big fan of the Winchester character, but that's beside the point. He just had too tough an act to follow.

The last few seasons also became too preachy IMHO, and too much Hawkeye all the time.

MASH never got anywhere as bad as Archie Bunker's Place, at least!

Disappointed to not find that awesome Christmas movie, Lethal Weapon, streaming anywhere.
