Here is the last of what I will say here.  If 4ever is such a huge MU fan, and a great guy...

then why do so many here think just the opposite?  Makes you think, aina?

fwiw, I don't dislike any of you.  I just think quite a few folks need to lighten up a bit.

Many can say the same about you....

Probably me too

I quit playing courses at 7k when I turned 50.    54 now.   Found a driver that actually did add 15-20 yards when well struck.    Longest I played a course this year was 6800.     The vast majority of my rounds were played in the 6300-6600 yard range.     More rounds under par than over 85.      Vast majority in the mid to high 70's.

Played a round in Myrtle Beach.   Other than that, all Michigan.    Really only played one new (to me) resort.  Forest Dunes and the Loop.     HIGHLY recommend the Loop, both directions.   Forest Dunes is nice, but feels like generic northern Michigan.    The Loop is special.

I gave up on the tips on my 5 rounds this year. Just not playing frequently enough to enjoy that sort of challenge. Rather just have some fun and try and feel decent after the round at this point. The challenge this year was just getting decent contact, not even close to shot shaping. Weirdly enough, my putting was on fire.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Lenny's views everything in a political lens.

And jockitch doesnt?  C'mon now.

MU82

Golf continues to bewilder me. I do enough things well to string together some decent holes, but I inevitably have 2 or 3 catastrophic holes and those make it impossible to post a decent score.

Specifically, my short game is a dumpster fire, so I can be 12 feet off the green after 2 and then card a 6. So frustrating.

But stoopid me, I still like the game, and really like the guys I play with. So I just tell them to let me know how much $$$ I owe them at the end of the round!

Most certainly. But the subject was Lenny's comments.

My short game is my strength.    A whole lot of rounds that I shoot 77 with 24-28 putts.    Drives my partners/opponents crazy how I save par or bogey from everywhere.   I am better with a 30' chip than a 30' putt.

Trying to sneak in a round this week and it's amazing how booked the courses that remained open are.

The golf talk really sent this thread into the abyss.

Actually, it was you replying to goose who was responding to jockey about jockeys comments on Lenny's political views.

We all are goddämn ridiculous.

Wait, it's not a competition to see who can be the most ridiculous?   My bad.

We R Final Four

Has Rocky ever shut down a thread that he started?

Someone else (?) mentioned that - and it's an odd criticism, but yes.

Lol, what?  Someone asked if he'd ever locked a thread started by him. Should he not have answered?

Currently have a Cobra bag, more or less. Been a big fan of the recent runs of cobra drivers
