Marquette's Skylar Forbes, and Jada Bediako are entering the transfer portal.

That makes it 4 MUWBB players in the portal. The other two previously mentioned are Aryelle Stevens, and Charia Smith.

MU announced Sheila Boykin as a new assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

She spent the past 3 years at South Florida. Their 25 year successful HC Jose Fernandez, left in October to coach in the WNBA, Dallas. The 18 year assistant/interim, did not get the job. It went to the Alabama HC.

USF was 4th, 3rd, and 3rd, in the AAC in those years, with an NCAA appearance.

Boykin was also on staff at CSUN (3 years) and SDSU (2 years). Southern California, Long Beach native. She played at LSU, finishing up 11 year ago.

Haven't seen a press release yet.

There aren't many players left either with all the seniors too.  They are going to have to hit the portal hard.

I'm guessing she's the only MU alum in the WNBA now but Camryn Taylor did become what I believe is the second ever Marquette player to play in the WNBA last season.

Roster is updated on the MU site and there are 4 players left - Barnes, Herring, Meulemans and Vice.  I believe there is one frosh signed for 2026-27 so plenty of room for transfers.
