Marquette's Skylar Forbes, and Jada Bediako are entering the transfer portal.

That makes it 4 MUWBB players in the portal. The other two previously mentioned are Aryelle Stevens, and Charia Smith.

MU announced Sheila Boykin as a new assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

She spent the past 3 years at South Florida. Their 25 year successful HC Jose Fernandez, left in October to coach in the WNBA, Dallas. The 18 year assistant/interim, did not get the job. It went to the Alabama HC.

USF was 4th, 3rd, and 3rd, in the AAC in those years, with an NCAA appearance.

Boykin was also on staff at CSUN (3 years) and SDSU (2 years). Southern California, Long Beach native. She played at LSU, finishing up 11 year ago.

Haven't seen a press release yet.

I'm guessing she's the only MU alum in the WNBA now but Camryn Taylor did become what I believe is the second ever Marquette player to play in the WNBA last season.

Roster is updated on the MU site and there are 4 players left - Barnes, Herring, Meulemans and Vice.  I believe there is one frosh signed for 2026-27 so plenty of room for transfers.

And one of the players left on the roster has zero college experience due to a preseason injury and one played a total of about 48 minutes in her career so far.  I think I'm going to need to bring a roster with me to follow along when the season starts.

Does she have eligibility remaining?  I thought there was a student paper article after her injury saying she'd used up all her eligibility.

Yes, she has 1 year remaining. She played 6 games her Freshman season before tranaferring to Charlotte.

5'11 point guard from Colorado.

She played 5A at Air Academy. She played club ball with Hardwood Evolution.

Kenzie Hare is visiting Indiana today.

Megan Duffy lost one of her players to Louisville, (versatile forward Carys Baker) and, another (point guard Mackenzie Nelson) to Clemson. She added Tennessee forward Alyssa Latham.
