Colt Wall
Cody Jinks

Saw Jamey Johnson in The Last Waltz tour last year, big fan. Played with Warren Haynes and John Medeski, too, among others.

Love the list. Especially Caamp, Lone Bellow (1st two CDs are phenomenal), Avetts, and John Prine - a true American treasure.

Also been listening to a lot of Jason Isbell and the Drive by Truckers lately.

Had tickets to Jason Isbell at the Ryman, had to back out, super bummed. I have never seen him live, but I’ve been told he and the band are solid.

Agree on Caamp and Lone Bellow, so good. Skipped the recent MKE Caamp show to see The Wood Brothers in Madison. Saw Avett Bros at Red Rocks a couple nights last summer, incredible.

Last concert, maybe for awhile, was Grace Potter at the Pabst. One of my favorite live voices in one of my favorite venues, along with Amos Lee. Could listen to him live for the rest of my existence.

Saw The Districts in the Back Room a couple years ago, pleasant surprise.

I have been enjoying watching the clothing evolution of Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page in a pirate shirt

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y078n95ApA

Jimmy Page in a sweater vest (this one takes awhile to get going, but when it does....hoo boy)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmPWsRdZPao

Jimmy Page wearing something very 70s like

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqgyD_yTWCU

Jimmy Page looking way cooler in his 60s then any one of us do/will

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sqiazeu7MI

They would have been billionaires had they gone on a reunion tour.

So many good bootleg concerts from the 70s on youtube.  Not just Zep, but so many bands.

I guess the Yardbirds one is from obscure French television show that lasted one season.  I guess the story is someone found these recordings somewhere and just uploaded them to Youtube.

A lot of the Zeppelin videos, outtakes, and soundboards were actually stolen from Page's house.

With how anti-bootlegging Peter Grant amd Richard Cole were, it's amazing how many audience recordings exist.

Hey Galway, the new Brian Fallon just dropped. He put out a couple songs prior but the whole album is on Spotify now.

Thanks for the heads up! The newer songs I've listened to have been hit or miss but still look forward to hearing the whole album

It's much more mellow than Painkillers, but typical deep Fallon lyrics.

You might like Dave Hause and also Northcote. Learned of them through a Fallon station on Spotify. Saw them both live a month ago, Hause puts on an intense show. Two more lyrically driven artists.

Clark did a lot of good work outside the Byrds. Lot of good stuff with Doug Dillard if you like a little bluegrass-y feel.

Looking forward to the Silk Sonic album. I'm not a big Bruno Mars fan but I can't see any way that a collaboration with Anderson Paak goes poorly. First single has a 70s feel.

I'm not a country fan but Mike Campbell's (Petty's lead guitarist) band, the Dirty Knobs, is a good listen.

Springsteen's "From My Home To Yours" series has introduced me to some new artists I've enjoyed. In particular, Larkin Poe, a Roots Rock sister duo, and Bleachers, who Bruce did a guest appearance with on "Chinatown."

I've been blaring Kaleo a bunch recently. Hot Blood and Glass Houses are bangers and I want more is a great tune to sip a beer or whiskey to. The whole A/B album is legit

Same, Airbourne Toxic Event, Kaleo, and The Tossers are bands I'm most looking forward to seeing.

Would've been Brian Fallon but he just cancelled all the North American dates  :-[
