He's dead.

????  He’s in Otisville until 9/1/23.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

What I found odd is they kept saying how charismatic Billy is. He’s not very handsome, and his personality came off as dull. The only gifts he seems to have are being a good liar and having a good imagination. Regardless he is disgusting person, thankfully he is in prison getting his due.

Having lots of cocaine on hand will make people think you're charismatic.

No, it's not.  And he has been referred to in the present tense in the media within the past week.

It's worth it. There's a very similar parallel with Mr. Broberg.

Just finished the Hitler's Circle of Evil series on Netflix.  Unless this is your first foray into WWII history, you'll only find a few new tidbits, a bit of additional insight, but no Earth-shattering revelations.

nazis: bad
nazi leadership: worse
the illusion that this could have lasted 1,000 years: moronic

I found the first season of the Mega Weapons series much more insightful and thought-provoking (i.e. how close we could have been to losing the war), although after watching Circle of Evil, absolutely convinced the outcome would have been the same even had the V2 and Me-262 been fully operational much earlier.

Doesn't look like my provider believes it is ending its contract standoff with HBO anytime soon.

When I clicked on the channel to see if it was back yet, the provider put up a card that advises people to go online and purchase a separate subscription to HBONow.
Have some patience, FFS.

Just finished Season 1 of the Santa Clarita Diet.  Not great but still moving onto Season 2... I’m not a fan of straight-up horror but mix in some comedy and good acting, and it’s serviceable entertainment.  My wife is a big Drew Barrymore fan, so she’s more into that I am (even though I’m a couple episodes ahead).

We’ve been using Amazon Prime for HBO and happy with that side benefit (we would use Prime even w/o HBO, so it really is a plus and means we don’t have to get HBO the old fashioned way)

I watched a few episodes and liked it enough - but it wasn’t enough to hook me.  Drew is really good.  I started watching for Olyphant after watching Justified and Deadwood.  Love him.  It is a strange part for him and he is fine.

Chemistry gets much better later on.  That’s probably what’s kept me around.

Know I’m way behind but putting that Amazon Prime account to good use to start Boardwalk Empire.

About 7 episodes in and love it so far, but man can they make a likable character become insufferable in an instant (looking at you Margaret Schroeder)

Generally a very good show, although as is often the case it's better in the earlier seasons.

My wife and I are watching The Act on Hulu. Quite enjoyable.

A bit behind, but just started The Haunting at Hill House last night. So far, so good. Some good jumps, high tension, feels like a solid horror show.

Just finished the last episode of last season of the Australian comedy series RAKE, currently available on Netflix, yesterday evening.   One of the funniest shows Porky has seen in years.  Any other Scoopers familiar with it?  Highly recommend.  Here are some clips

When I bring up GOT on Prime, it says that you have to pay $14.99 additional per month if you don't have a subscription elsewhere.

There's so much on Netflix, I almost don't know where to start. I won't watch anything unless somebody I trust gives a strong recommendation. Our time is just too valuable.

Ozark is an outstanding show. Julia Garner (who plays Ruth) should win the Emmy.
