Wow truly incredible how he worked his way into the league. Frustrating we didn't get an ounce of that skill for MU but incredible.

Juan has worked so hard for so long  to earn this. He hit the trifecta, 1) His Skills have been on an uptrend 2) The Coach is really into Juan's style of play and 3) The Best Player on the team enjoys playing along side Juan.

Great story of a hometown hero( Juan is from Oakland) making good.

I love Juan's story. That kind of thing is so rare.

He's such a hard-working guy, and very humble.

I'd have put his shot at an NBA career at less than 1% when he left Marquette. Amazing.

Nothing like using Markus' success to take shots at the NBA.  I'm sure Markus feels that the league has plenty of "character and class."

Glad he got some minutes, things were looking pretty bleak for him over the past month.

Denver traded Harris, traded Hampton, lost Murray to injury, lost Morris to injury, lost Barton to injury.  In light of that, Markus saw no time, then got "over recruited" by the signings of Rivers and Harrison.  Still no playing time, until last night.

Delighted that Markus got some minutes. He came out Guns A-Blazing with 11 shots in 13 minutes. Showed a little proof of concept of being instant offense.

Hope he can build off this performance.
