Back in the '80's, when chicks in the business world had to dress like a guy (remember when Jos A Banks carried women's suits?), I was mad that their line of women's shoes was not successful.

I am over it now.  Yay, business casual!

Amen, sistah! I remember being critiqued on my interview outfit because my blouse was pale pink. Oh, and was told to take off my wedding ring for interviews.

Because if you were a young married woman, the interviewer was going to assume that you were going to immediately get pregnant and come back the day after you had exhausted your six weeks of maternity leave and announce you were quitting.

I am confident that is still happening, which is one of the reasons I am not a proponent of mandatory months-long paid maternity leave.  It will cause massive discrimination against young women in the workforce.

Oh it absolutely still happens. Mrs. TAMU once had an interview where the interviewer asked something along the lines of "You're not going to get pregnant anytime soon, right?" But he cleverly phrased it in a way where he was "joking" but he clearly wasn't joking. Mrs. TAMU reported it to their HR anyway, she knew she didn't want the job after the interview.

The great hypocrisy with this concern is that i've seen the exact opposite with men i.e. a late 20's and older male that has never been married is viewed as a flight risk and companies are less likely to invest in that person.

note: i'm in no way trying to say that the two are remotely equal.  clearly the discrimination towards women is much more ubiquitous and overt.  Just pointing out that people are stupid for all kinds of reasons.

This is true- I had a young woman in the office the other day reporting that her manager told her his problem with hiring women was that they get pregnant.  For my part, I've always been upfront about the kind of flexibility I needed from a job.  No sense taking a job that doesn't match my life needs.

From the dates this coupon is valid we can only conclude that:
Three years ago Arby's foretold of a Scoop thread combining the passion for tasty apples with the passion for highly processed food products.....
This prophecy of apple/fast food passion came to be in a thread titled 'NM'....
The most famous teller of prophecies is Nostradamus........
Nostradamus' full name was Michel de Nostradame.....
Who's initials are 'MN'......
Obviously you reverse the initials to get 'NM' because the apple was the reason for man's fall from Eden....And....

Wake up sheeple!!!!  We are getting played by a Domer influenced marketing campaign at the hands of an illuminati corporation who's board chairman is Jon Luther..ie..Luthifer...ie..Lucifer!

YES. Arby's offers a deal of titanic proportions by offering free preserved apples. The Rothschilds sunk the Titanic in order to preserve the Federal Reserve (which would in turn perpetuate their banking cabal now led by George Soros, of course). And when was Arby's founded you ask? Precisely 50 years to the day after the Titanic sank.

The truth is revealed for those smart enough to look.

We are delighted to hire women. In general ,they are more conscientious workers then men.
