Soooo...is anyone excited for the start of Red Delicious apple season?
I have been getting Organic Gala apples to put in my blender in the morning. I quarter them and the seeds come right out.

Took the wife and daughter apple picking yesterday. There were two kinds of apples available for picking, one of them being honeycrisp. I'm proud to say that my 20 month old immediately ran towards honeycrisp section of the orchard.

Get your act together and find some Fuji apples for the kid.

Just bought a bushel of honeycrisps in Hendersonville, NC, the apple capitol of the South.

So good.

That's a gorgeous area of the country.  We used to raft and kayak near there when I was a kid.  Seems like a great place to retire eventually.

You're relatively new here, hopefully Scoop will let your infraction slide

Fuji apples are sweeter and less tart.  Sorry if I was a little too emphatic.

Two nearby locales, Asheville and Lake Lure, are quite popular retiree destinations. Lake Lure also is very popular for second homes. If one has family that one wants to see often, the main problem with both is that they are quite far from airports that can get you anywhere directly. But yes, beautiful country.

I needed to take a wizz at 3am today but I didn't want to turn on the bathroom lights.  I aligned with the pot but was concerned about aim.

I heard a voice in my head:  Use the Force, Luke.

Peeing at night is strictly a sit down affair for me.

I don't yet have the coin to make an offer on the Biltmore Estate.  :)

The key is your overall percentage. In years of practicing this maneuver, I shoot about 80%.

Good enough for me...but not quite good enough to hear chants of "automatic" in my head.

Sometimes I wander into the kids' bathroom, so if I miss, my wife blames the teenagers.

Perhaps you should clean up your own messes.

I use the hand held plastic urinal. Just stand up and let loose. Put the cover back on and go back to sleep. Empty in the AM, let soak in soap until the next night.
