This will come as a surprise, but neither of my sons have had Arby's.

UNTIL TODAY.  I made my first trip to an Arby's since March .. popped their Arby's cherry with some beef n cheddars.

Funny, my 14 year old doesn't like BBQ sauce.  (Clearly my least favorite child.)

How do you describe Arby's sauce?  I mean .. it's in the BBQ family of sauces.   But if I said that, he'd refuse to taste it because I failed to raise him right.

My 12 year old says Arby's sauce "kinda tastes like not-spicy taco sauce."

Boom, his brother tries it and likes it.

Also, so far no salmonella, so we're winning the day.

I also had their sweet potato waffle fries.  They were good.

So pony up the cash, buy the local Arby's franchises and donate all the profits.  Jeez, Doc.

I don't like BBQ sauce or ketchup. But I like Arby's sauce.

Once kids get beyond a few years old, the best way to get them to try something new is to forbid them to try it.

No.  I've posted this before but it's good for a repost.

When MU hosted that mubb alumni game at the Al, 3-4 years ago, we took the boys for dinner at RC.

Before entering, we thought hey, maybe there's a dinner rush and we'll have to wait.  False.   Place was empty, zero customers, zero employees.

After a minute, a employee gal walks out of the hallway to the bathroom and pops behind the counter.

She is baked out of her mind.

Usually it takes, what, 30 seconds to serve a bowl?  She takes like 10 minutes to get us 4 bowls, losing track of spoons, bowls, water glasses.   By the time she was done, there were 4 other customers watching her float around.

Perfect first experience for the kids.

Did she wash her hands after pooping and before getting your chili?

I suppose it would fall under the broad category of "natural and artificial flavors."

Yowza.  What a business.

"A woman detained during the bust told police that the used prophylactics were first boiled in water then dried and reshaped on a wooden phallus before being repackaged and resold."

I mean, that sounds like a lot of effort over something that doesn't cost much to produce.

It could be a supply issue.  Or that's just how cheap they were able to get labor.
Have some patience, FFS.

Probably a little bit of both.

I can’t imagine being so poor that you’d be one of the people who collected the used condoms and brought them in for cleaning. Ugh.

Despite the disgusting part of this story, that's the sad part.  I have to believe these "workers" fall under some forced/slave labor category that Vietnam is notorious for.  Otherwise it'd just be cheaper to make new condoms.

Read that yesterday.  Seems like they built a break room.  5 stories UNDERNEATH Manhattan isn't exactly living the dream. And a 1/2 full can of IPA is the proof of "get drunk and party"?  C'mon..

I mean.  They were lounging on the job, and will be disciplined or fired.  But otherwise the story was a bit 'meh to me.

edit: discarded Arby's wrappers would have changed my opinion of "partying".

Good news and bad news. Good news Marquette’s Butler and Crowder are in the NBA Finals and scored the Heats first 8 points. Bad news heard MU is letting go of 200 more. Is that true
