We had one pecking at our chimney cap, scared the crap out of us every morning 7:00-7:30. Turns out male woodpeckers will do that to warn other male woodpeckers that this is their territory especially during mating season.

you could mate with it.........or I sprayed a generous amount of insecticide around the area out of pure paranoia of an infestation and that seemed to work - could've been a coincidence but it was a pretty immediate result.

The woman best known for popularizing gender reveal parties has a message for the world: Please stop.

This week, as more than 7,000 acres in California were burned after a gender reveal led to a massive wildfire in San Bernardino County, blogger Jenna Karvunidis -- who is largely credited for creating the gender reveal party -- took to Facebook to condemn the over-the-top events.

"Stop having these stupid parties. For the love of God, stop burning things down to tell everyone about your kid's penis. No one cares but you," she wrote.

An 80-year-old man who went missing while hiking during a hailstorm was reunited with his family at a press conference staged to try and find him.

Harry Harvey was reported missing at 1.30 pm on Sunday after he became separated from his walking partner while out hiking in the Yorkshire Dales, in the northeast of England.

Police, the Royal Air Force (RAF) and mountain rescue workers spent four days searching for the experienced hiker and a press conference was planned for Wednesday at The Tan Hill Inn, situated within the national park.

But the planned appeal turned into a celebration when Harvey turned up at the pub.
