I'm about a week away from letting Brutus The Barber Beefcake cut my hair.

I'm about a week away from letting Brutus's grandkid cut my hair.  He's 5.   8-)

I had my wife cut my hair about 3 weeks ago.  For her first haircut, it was not bad.

Y'all are copping out. Gotta let the flow grow. (Probably helps that I've already been growing my hair out for the past year)

I took my hair to the bone on March 13, so that isn't an issue yet.   Having to comb my eyebrows is the issue.   Fuzzy caterpillars capable of independent thought

Two caterpillars though, and not just a single huge one?

I bought a Wahl clipper last week to trim my beard.  I'd never had a beard before, so never needed a clipper.  I haven't used it on my hair yet, but I'm willing to give it a shot.  I generally have them cut the sides really short, so that shouldn't be an issue.  But I leave the top a little longer...not sure how that will work.

My wife finally agreed to cut mine yesterday.  Not bad at all - but all done with a wahl #6 & #8 trimmer (basically what happens when I go for a "real" haircut) .

Did you buy a beard clipper or a hair clipper?  Don't use a beard clipper on your head.  The guards are much different and you will end up pulling more hair (painful) while also hastening the destruction of your beard trimmer.

Thank you for the tip...I was unaware there was a difference.

Further advice, after a while your blades will dull.  Easily changed out, but be sure to do it.  Sharp blades cut like budda.

So .. I bought some clippers ~8 years ago .. I've used them maybe a few dozen times over the years.    I had my wife try them on me last month and .. yeah, they felt like they were ripping my hair instead of cutting.

I'd pop for new blades if I thought that would fix the problem.  But .. it seems like I haven't used them enough for them to be dull in the first place.

I'd be willing to bet it would fix the problem.  Plus they're pretty cheap.
