I don't get the whole parade thing. If a good band or something passes by, you usually don't even get to hear a whole song. Why not just go hear the bands you like?

Cold and windy in NY for the pre-season NIT.  They are worried about the wind and balloons for the parade Thursday.

Go to Stamford, CT this Sunday.  They have a Thanksgiving parade downtown and they "trial" all of the balloons that will be featured in NYC on Thanksgiving.

Thought MU was playing today vs Kansas.  In preparation,  I had an Arbynator for lunch.

When I finished, I realized that MU plays tomorrow.  Life is suffering.

Note:  the sandwich is really good.  It's a beef and cheddar with curly fries and horsey sauce.  They have a meal.option too, in case you want more curly fries.  Definitely not an eat in the car sandwich, it was messy but delicious.  Eat at Arby's.

I gotta admit, the curly fries don't do a lot for me.  They have a high variability rate, often too short or undercooked long curls.

My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live in Stamford and attended the parade this past Sunday.  The only big balloons reported back to Grumpa were Daniel Tiger and Elmo.
