I find it funny how half of those teams aren't even in the World Cup this year.

It's all about the Benjamin$

Pro-Bark has good mulch that lasts for 2-3 years get a break and free delivery if you order 10-12 yards

If you need enough, you can get a dump truck to drop it in your driveway.
This is the one thing my wife and i disagree on.  I want less and she wants more.  Every year we call it the 'divorce mound', and 11 years of doing the same thing in this house, she is clearly correct.....our 5 cu/yds of mulch gets dumped next week.  Let us all hope we don't need more decorative stone this year.

I know that kid... and he's a little sh*t the rest of the year!

This is the single funniest post so far of 2018.

🏀

Used to do bulk mulch every year, switched to the bags of brown last year. Never going back. The color lasts way longer, I still have brown mulch. My dad is going on several years of bagged mulch, he says three years until the color is gone. The bagged stuff doesn't fly away as easily either.

Pro tip (ZFB's mom taught me this): Rent the Home Depot truck for $20/HR and have them load the pallet in. With someone in the back, drive around your yard and throw the bags every 5 feet. Take the truck back. At this point you're just cutting bags open and dumping where you need it. With two people, a pallet won't even take a full Saturday.

Looks like I can fit two yards in the Silverado.  $40 per yard for colored mulch and $25 for plain mixed hardwoods.  Plus, I have to take down a box elder this spring.  Lots of mulch from that sucker...

Didn't really have a problem, but I don't think we did it until late June.

It all depends on the brand and source of the mulch. I've had bagged mulch that lost its color in weeks, bulk mulch that kept its color for years, and vice-versa. In fact, the last time the guy we work with delivered mulch, he had several grades and shades to choose from.

"The mouth is for eating...."

Seems like the rest of the sentence contradicts this.

Last year we had an intern who worked summer and winter breaks.  He left when he got a coop job at Sikorsky.  He's Nepalese-American and had to pass all these security checks. To get the security clearance, it was recommended he postpone a visit to Nepal to see family.  Somewhere along the way he decided to visit Uganda with his fraternity friends to stay in a resort and see waterfalls. They would book if he got the coop.  At work we tried to encourage to go somewhere like fun for college kids like Amsterdam or anyplace in Europe.  He got the coop and went to Uganda.  On the return he got detained at JFK for like 8 hours of interrogation.

If I ever go to the hinterlands, I'm getting the hell out if I hear banjos....

Very nice beer and food. Our group had seafood and steak. For apps, duck wings which were great. Also split the wood fired Italian meat pizza...really really good. Pizza alone makes it a destination stop.

So no banjos?  ;)

I'll have to give the pizza a try sometime when I'm up there....
