Dying with curly fries in Arby's sauce at your side is like Markus Howard hitting a go ahead 3 pointer.

I am not an English teacher but my mother is. If I remember correctly "I drank" vs "it was drunk."

I am not an English teacher but my mother is. If I remember correctly "I drank" vs "it was drunk."

Past participle of drink is drunk.

Present: I drink.
Past Simple: I drank yesterday.
Past Participle: I have drunk it all.

Once you put the "have" in, it's past perfect, which uses the past participle.  "Drunk" is the past participle, therefore, "I probably shouldn't have drunk that 2L of Orange Crush" is correct.

The general trick is to remove as many words as possible from the sentence using "have," e.g.

I have ______ Orange Crush.

In this case, because certain parts of the country commonly swap the past forms and use "drunk" as past simple and "drank" as past participle, "drank" is used, but technically, "drunk" is correct.

That said, I have a feeling this is a trick question and there's some archaic rule or exception that Topper is going to lay into us.

Your usage of drank is a verb; your usage of drunk is an adjective.  Your mother is ashamed of you.

You’re going to have to consult Emmanuel Lewis on that one.

A Royal Family Summit?!? https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/jan/11/urgent-talks-continue-to-resolve-harry-and-meghan-crisis

Since they're all getting together anyway, maybe Liz could make it a beer summit too.

Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
