Why isn't whole milk 100%?

Whole milk is only 3 or 4% fat, if I remember correctly

Edit: looks like it's 3.5%, according to a quick google search

Happy National Cheeselovers Day.

The average American eats 31 pounds of cheese a year.

I have hit that already in 2020. Gotta love the Keto diet. Eat all the high fat you want and lose weight.

Hopefully it's not too late to respond to this, but I gotta say we're really spoiled on Scoop with all the great puns.

Not sure... but I really liked him in Parks & Recreation (despite his character being an accountant from Minnesota).

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Markus needs 43 to pass Harangody for third all-time on the BE list. Let's get it done tonight.

ND sucks.

Put down the 2%.

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-01-accounts-years-aging-adults.html

I would gladly trade 4.5 years of life to not drink 1% or, God forbid, skim milk.
Skim milk is the red delicious of dairy products.

Yeah, I tried Skim for a while but couldn't stand the watery taste. Then I tried 1% and 2% for a while. Then I just said screw it and went back to whole.

Now docs are finding that fat doesn't contribute to obesity or other illnesses anywhere near as much as sugar does. And yet people who were conditioned to buy skim milk keep buying it.... ?-(

Ugh.  Drinking whole milk is like chugging coffee creamer to me.  Way too heavy.

~3-4 years ago I stopped drinking milk.  I'd have a big glass at dinner and then realized it was like 250 calories.  So I switched to water so I can eat more Arby's.

Sorry, farmers.

1% is fine. I use it for cereal.
