I think someone mentioned that Henry was going to be a huge selling point for young Mr. Froling. Also, if I understand the rules correctly, this wouldn't have been possible without Wally's departure. How about that, the American with an Australian sounding name made room for the Australian with an American sounding name. Wally's twitter handle is also the Kangaroo Kid....which makes it even better.

IF, you contend that Wojo has not had any good wins at Marquette, and
IF, Providence, Butler and UW aren't good wins because they aren't like beating Kentucky, UNC or Duke,
THEN Buzz didn't have any "good wins" either.

Look, you just have to understand that beating a top 10 Providence team on the road is a "good win."  It may not excite you like a win over Duke, UNC or Kentucky, but it is a good win.

Ultimately, the Providence team referenced, and the LSU team referenced (prior) simply weren't Top 25 teams that year.  Do we really want to pride ourselves on beating a way overrated LSU team in November when they were ranked 23 when they finished 95th in Pomeroy?  Or Providence when they were overrated at 10, when they finished 44th in the country?

So far, we have 1 win over an end of season Top 25 team in the Wojo era:  The win over the scuffling Badgers (who were coming off a home loss to UWM,) in Bo Ryan's last game.  At the time of that game, if you want to play that game, the Badgers were rated 38 in Pomeroy.

I understand we have been relegated to grasping for straws the past three seasons, yet let's not sensationalize the reality and try to suggest we are looking for wins over traditional blue bloods such as Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina.  Think most here just want to see a few wins over legitimate Top 25 teams.

You missed my point, I meant beating Providence, Butler, UW etc is not like beating Kentucky, UNC, or Duke.

Now there's proof that Wojo sucks! In 2 1/2 seasons at Marquette, he hasn't been able to beat Kentucky, UNC or Duke.

The fact that Marquette hasn't played Kentucky, UNC or Duke ... just a minor annoyance. Wojo shoulda beaten them anyway!

And did it ever dawn on you that one reason Providence wasn't ranked at the end of the season was that they lost twice to Marquette?
