Yet another failure by Wojo.

Just as the wins over Providence, Creighton, Butler, Wisconsin, LSU and Georgia didn't count, landing Henry, Markus, Hauser, Haani and now Froling don't count.

I mean, take away all of his recruits and he's a bad recruiter.

So tell me...how big were those wins anyway?? certainly helped get MU in the tourney didn't they?? Sad that for most here, those are considered good wins..Those are games the marquette program should be EXPECTED to win. Not exactly UNC, kentucky, and Duke.

Great news. Welcome to Marquette. One more needed piece in place for next season. If competing against Luke for 1-1/2 years has helped Matt improve his game, we should expect more of the same with Harry.

and Andrew Gaze

Andrew Gaze is 50 years old.

How about Patty Mills, Dante Exum or Ben Simmons?

Dellavodova and Thon Maker(who I'm sure played a big part in his decision to come to MU).

I know we'd all like to get back to that level. But come on — since 1977, Marquette has made exactly 1 Final Four appearance. Duke alone has been to 12. Do you really think comparing the two programs is realistic?

You missed my point, I meant beating Providence, Butler, UW etc is not like beating Kentucky, UNC, or Duke.

Hopefully this one doesn't make me crap my pants like the original did when I was a kid.

Considering UW and Butler have both been to one national title game and another Final Four in the last decade I'd say those programs have been fairly successful and wins against them are pretty big wins.

IF, you contend that Wojo has not had any good wins at Marquette, and
IF, Providence, Butler and UW aren't good wins because they aren't like beating Kentucky, UNC or Duke,
THEN Buzz didn't have any "good wins" either.

Look, you just have to understand that beating a top 10 Providence team on the road is a "good win."  It may not excite you like a win over Duke, UNC or Kentucky, but it is a good win.

Wow.  We're complaining about 4 star 6' 11" centers.  Between Harry and Matt we've got the 5 spot covered for the next 2 years.  Terrible.

Think Harry sees himself as a stretch 4 (ala HE). Of course, that doesn't mean he won't play some center.

Regardless, a nice pick up for Wojo and the Warriors.

As I recall when Buzz had a team with Crowder, Butler and DJO he was down 30 at the half against UNC before losing by about 13?

Gotta be a good pickup. Not sure if it measures up to the hype. Have no meaningful evaluation of the kid - saw some video, he doesn't look exceptionally physical, but he has good bloodline. Definitely will help in practice. Just don't see this as transformational. All that said, here's hoping he has a very successful and productive stay at MU.

That may be true.  Nice to have 4 big bodies to cover the two slots.
