Eh. I've read so many articles that have said "Kansas leaves but (insert any of the other 3 schools here) are definitely 2nd place/closing the gap. I don't put a ton of stock in that. Maybe he doesn't end up here, but nobody seems to have any real idea.

If anyone remembers, a similar situation is what finally led to Crean leaving MU...the failure to land Iman Shumpert after recruiting him longer/harder then just about anyone was the straw that broke the camels back for TC...and made him leave for IU.

Pretty obvious. Crean felt that it wouldn't have happened if he was recruiting him for a school such as an Indiana. He lost out to some other big names that he was on that blue bloods came in late and got. Bobby Frasor who committed to UNC. As already noted this was a final straw scenario for crean.

Your displeasure for the Crystal Bowl is well documented and strange. Mark Miller isn't making predictions as a marketing ploy lol. He is well connected with the recruiting scene in Wisconsin and has a good feel for recruits interested in both state programs.
