Here's a not so positive view of the situation from a TX message board... open up the "spoiler" post.

http://www.shaggytexas.com/board/showthread.php/177681-Talkin-bout-the-2017-18-Longhorns/page19

Eh. I've read so many articles that have said "Kansas leaves but (insert any of the other 3 schools here) are definitely 2nd place/closing the gap. I don't put a ton of stock in that. Maybe he doesn't end up here, but nobody seems to have any real idea.

This is where we need big daddy to chime in. Maybe MU hasn't been in yet, because they don't see a need to, one way or the other.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

I think BD is still at the International Janitors Conference.  Might be a few days before we see him post.

They're in next week.

ChocolateSauce.

There is a reason BD can be trusted with sensitive info.  He doesnt go spilln if not appropriate.  The longer we wait for Bid D.... maybe.

If anyone remembers, a similar situation is what finally led to Crean leaving MU...the failure to land Iman Shumpert after recruiting him longer/harder then just about anyone was the straw that broke the camels back for TC...and made him leave for IU.

Quote from: TrueWarrior on October 25, 2017, 03:30:23 PM
Pretty obvious. Crean felt that it wouldn't have happened if he was recruiting him for a school such as an Indiana. He lost out to some other big names that he was on that blue bloods came in late and got. Bobby Frasor who committed to UNC. As already noted this was a final straw scenario for crean.

Don't be silly, Crean would have jumped at Indiana even if he had landed Shumpert.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Again for Howard's class he was 25 24/7, 32 espn, 50 scout. While not in the neighborhood of hank it is in the neighborhood of QG.

False. His class was 2016. Evaluators had an opportunity to rank him in 2016. They did, and did a poor job of it.

Well, yeah.....but, the dialogue here is about where he was ranked prior to his reclassification.

You're the only one making it gay humor. You have a man crush on Tom Crean. If you find that "gay" that's on you. I have my own man crushes and am comfortable enough with my own sexuality that I don't have to accuse others of being incensitive towards gay people when someone might bring it up. Sorry, your super creepy apology about never wanting to come back to Scoop where you talked about the real love of your life not being your wife had me confused.

You said lover boy, maybe you meant something else.  I may have confused you with Sand Knit, which is an easy error to make. He was talking about male parts in people's mouths.  It's between you and God on your intentions. If you weren't trying to make gay humor remarks, I accept that.  Moving on.

QG should commit to Marquette so he can eliminate the wannabes.

Understand it's still early, but Mark Miller switched prediction for carton from Wisconsin to Marquette. Would love to beat them out again for another top recruit.

Marketing. Question is why? DJ's mom has been active on Twitter. Sadly, it's these types of things that make ppl hop on the marketing tool.

Your displeasure for the Crystal Bowl is well documented and strange. Mark Miller isn't making predictions as a marketing ploy lol. He is well connected with the recruiting scene in Wisconsin and has a good feel for recruits interested in both state programs.
