It seems I was mistaken. My apologies guru

It's all good! I just wish we had more info on how the visit went.

Is it over then? Or is Grimes on campus for another night?

He arrived in Milwaukee late Thursday. I believe recruits get 48 hours on the school's dime. So he'd either fly out today/tonight or have had to pay for either Thursday night's hotel or tonight's hotel on his own.

Not only but travel. If you overstay 48, the flight back is ineligible.

Semi-related, Herro to KU, QG to MU works for me

Is Herro to KU likely?

I thought that but I wasn't sure. So if a recruit were to stay an extra 12 hours they would need to book one way flights each direction instead of a round trip flight?

It was a beautiful balmy evening last night. The atmosphere around the BC and Bucks game was quite electric . Restaurants hoping. So that is all a plus.

I saw the younger guys on the team and QG return in a van to Humphrey Hall Friday evening around 10:45 . Seemed like everyone was in good spirits. They had a hard practice this morning starting at about 9:15.

I think our recruitment of QG is more about making the sale that MU is a special place than it is about basketball. He knows he can come To MU and be the focal point basketball wise.  He and his parents have to be convinced that this is a family oriented environment he would thrive as a person in . That is something different from the other schools and  I am pretty sure that is how Wojo and Stan are positioning this.

I'm just crossing my fingers that nobody told QG about Wojo's maniacal de-motivating tactics.

Looks like QG is playing laser tag and go carting per snap chat.
If its past the magical 48 hour mark I am guessing he can afford those activities on his own dime

I wonder if he might hang around for the scrimmage tomorrow since it's for hurricane relief

I doubt Quality Control will care.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Would be a real shame if he had happened to have run into the guy this weekend and wanted to help him open a new arena in a year.

Not to be picky. Today is an exhibition game, not a scrimmage.
