Quinerly just backed out of his Zona commitment. Doubt that it would change anything for QG at this late stage, but something to watch.

I'm guessing this signals an even BIGGER reason to stay away from Arizona if you're a recruit like Quentin Grimes.

But, good luck in Tucson Tyler Herro!

He probably burned his own bridge with his tweet. Coaches don't forget stuff like that.

I think the coaches would gladly forgive and forget if they have a chance at Quentin Grimes or Tyler Herro.

My thought was Quinerly very well may have a better idea of what might be to come for Arizona given their standing with a certain FBI investigation.

No matta.  Kid is cooked.  He'll play in Euro (if he can hack it) before trying to get drafted.

It's a top 5 day here in the Mil.

We're paying Grimes $5 million to come here?

Though we know you are joking, I'm not sure this is the best comment to be making on a free board right now, given the state of college basketball.

Freeport Warrior

Beautiful day in downtown MKE -- almost balmy at 75 degrees today. Sorry if already out there, but Bradley Center will be rocking tonite with an early game against Lebron and Cavs. Wojo introducing Wade, Jae, Jabari and Co. I am assuming. Downtown will be showing real well with a ton of energy for home opener and the new stadium looking super impressive. Inside views of stadium from Bucks sales office a few blocks away are very cool t0o. If we can't close this deal, it just wasn't meant to be.

Like other posters have noted, you could not have a better day for this visit. I work downtown and a buzz outside The Pfister at 9am. The Cav's in town, a ton of former Warriors and perfect weather. The stars are aligned for a Wojo recruiting victory.

Things really really seem to be lined up as heavily in our favor as they could possibly be, considering the competition. I have a great feeling about this. Stars align sometimes for a reason, and this could be the opportunity that, if it works out, finally gets us to break through as a program. Wojo and staff have put us in a great position to get it done, they should be commended no matter which way it goes.

Where do recruits and parents stay on visits?  I would guess recruits stay on campus and parents at the Hilton (marketing partner of MU Athletics)?

It would be a real shame if the Hilton was booked and Marcus Corp could only find room for the Grimes family at the Pfister.

Almost positive a tour of the new arena is on the schedule this weekend.

Agreed, and how could it not be? The opportunity to open up the newest, shiniest NBA arena has to be prominently featured in the pitch. There's got to be a significant wow factor there, a physical sign that big things are happening in MU's immediate future.

We need to send a gift basket to whomever makes the NBA schedule.  I know DWade is past his prime, but that has to be an amazing experience for a recruit.

Seriously, only way this could have worked out better is if Jimmy was on the Bucks or Cavs as well.
